Getting a custom domain always build a trust between your visitors and increases your blog traffic it also boost your rank on search engine, more fact about it is that most visitors prefer visiting a self own blog/website than a sub-domain. A custom domain is more like a profession.


Now I will be sharing with you how you can get a free custom domain to your blogger blog, that is instead of yours ..com you can now have yours.com perhaps to get a .com is not free the only ones you get for free are the .tk .ga .gp .ml .cf this are the one you can get for free example www.yourdomain.tk or what ever you wishes to have so now let go into the real business.


Firstly how to register freenom account.


Open a new tap and the enter http://www.freenom.com or click on the link check out for a domain name if available and then click on check availability.


Then if such name is available click on Get it now then selected roll up a little bit your domain will be added to your cart click on your cart, Now you will find review and checkout then click on it.



Once you have click on checkout you will be directed to a page were you can change the period of yes for 3month to a year then click on continue.


Now enter your Email address below then click on verify Email so now a verification link will be sent to your Email for further registration
Go to your Email and click on the confirmation link to confirm your verification.


"Congratulations" you have just register for a free custom domain.


Now its time to insert your domain name to your blogger blog.


Now how to set up your domain to blogger.

On your blog "dashboard" troll down to "setting" than "basic" by your right hand side you will see a button
"+Set up a third-party URL for your blog" , click on the button and fill in your domain name you register with freenom with the (www) and then click on save.


It will bring up "errors" don't worry is just that your domain is not yet registerd to any DNS record.


To solve this situation you have to go back to your freenom account on the menu bar you will see "domain" then click on "sub-menu" button below and sub-domain after you have done that click on manage domains and then manage freenom DNS .
for solution.


So now enter the CNAME that was review to your when you attempt to enter your domain and later shows
"errors" after that add this four A records leave the name empty and fill this records one by one at the right place.

Now go back to your blogger
"dashboard" go to "settings" and back to were you enter your freenom domain and re-enter it this time it wouldn't bring up errors again then click on save then it will get saved.


Now click on Edit then tick the redirect box and save it once more.


Finally you have succeeded. somehow stressful.
