I subscribe to "Don't believe everything you hear or read" but there are some exceptions.

The guy no claim say 2k fuel would reach half tank for all generation of Toyota Corollas.

If you believe he his lying, just kukuma challenge him to drive you to a filling station he uses to counter all his claims.

Please let's drop this matter, to each their own. I have quite a few Elantras and 3 Kia Rios, I sold off 2 of my corollas and not because they are bad cars but because I didn't see them as value for money. I have never had a single transmission problem with the Elantras nor Rio, however, in saying that, I have stringent maintenance culture. Posting car reviews comes with its own flaws, people mainly post reviews to complain when they have issues and there are lots of bad reviews about corollas as well. Lastly the fact Gazzuz mentioned transmission transmission hasnt stopped him from selling his old fleet to replace them with Elantras. I have had Elantras working for me since 2015 and no major regrets, this is my personal experience and not online reviews. I hope it helps

why are u guys arguing what's obvious.. He's not lying jare.. When Ur tank is on reserve, it still has like 10 litres left..
Is that not 1500 worth of fuel.. Oya add 2k fuel, no be 3500 be that? Is that not equal to half tank.. Same goes for me too.

Offline + Online = 20K am talking about. I do that on weekly basis. Take for example I took someone offline from Parkview Estate to passport office Ikoyi waited 4hrs, back to Parkview and got paid 13k at d end of the trip. Then an online trip request to Ikeja Airport came in, getting to MMA2 I made 3k. Another trip request to Ajah Badore comes in, at end of d trip. I make 4K. That’s total of 20k on 2k fuel which is usually half tank of Toyota Corolla American spec. With half tank I do a lot of trips. I only buy Fuel from HeYden filling station. Their fuel always complete. It doesn’t short.

As for offline trip. About 1k fuel earn someone on this thread $500. Divine favour. Cos consumption per mile can not earn u 20k on 2 fuel averagely.. never

There's a difference with humility and humiliation. In this business you'll be humiliated if you get bad riders. I once took a lady, and dropped her at VFS Freedom way and waited for her. I literally packed in front of the complex after haggling with the touts. Immediately she came out I drove and met her and she started her wahala, complaining that I wasted time in coming so that the money will be increasing. That day I lost it and kept arguing with her till I recollected myself and took her rants graciously. She wouldn't tell me her next destination and I had several rough drivings, rough turnings and reverses. Luckily for me, it was another person that booked the ride for her.

Be ready to take shit bro, it ain't easy. Many riders don't know the caliber of drivers, they think we are all uneducated and unfortunate people.

My taxify dropped from 5 to 4.13 just because I gave a winning vote that made them all alight to walk the rest of the way after an hour in one spot. The lady who booked apparently was annoyed that I took sides with her friends. How one review brought it down to 4.13 still beats my imagination.

To increase it, when you get nice male riders and the conversation steers towards the business, share some thoughts with them and request for 5star, no dulling, not just "please rate me" because if you do, they may give you 4 point which doesn't make much difference. Twice i was rated 4 after a fantastic discussion. Apparently the riders are not aware of the implications. People usually "forget" to rate when offered good services but will never forget to rate when they receive "bad" service.

One yeye lady just annoyed me this afternoon and I gave her the piece of my mind.. I don't tolerate bullshit.. I drive my own car and on part-time basis but some riders will just feel like like they are doing you a big favor..

I made one terrible mistake today.. I taught I have started the trip but on getting the destination of my rider, I discovered that it was showing confirm starting trip . I just weak. I was at the mercy of my rider and he wasn't even understanding.. Trip that was suppose to be 2k, he gave me 1500..

save for the Corolla,are there other fuel friendly,low budget ,Uber/taxify tested cars out there?the Prius seem the best alternative fuel,but it's not actually a rugged car.the battery on the other hand cost an arm and a leg.
