It is clear to all around the social media world that Iheanacho is a better goal threat than Ighalo would ever be. Forget even about what John Fashanu said. I don't need him to state the obvious. Iheanacho don't need to hold much because he has way better movements upfront than Ighalo. Nacho has this beautiful sense of running into space and opening up nicely in behind defenders. It would be easy for an Iwobi and Mikel to pick him out for a shot on goal compared to an Ighalo. I like Ighalo but for the good of this team, my good God... Ighalo is poor in front of goal. The Argentine team is set up to play through Messi. That is a different scenario. This is why Messi can be stifled. In our case, Nacho is not Messi. He is NOT the best player on our team. We dont play through Nacho. He is just a key player for us upfront with bags of goals in his feet and body. His attacking instincts are unrivalled among the current Super Eagles forwards in Russia. For the good of this team, he has to play a large part and if possible, start. We cannot keep managing Ighalo who still struggles for ages in the GWG. This is a make or mar game. Even if Ighalo starts I will root for him to score because I got no choice but to back this team. I love the Super Eagles so much. But the truth simply is that Ighalo is not as awesome a goal threat compared to Nacho upfront. As for Aguero, at least he has a goal to show for his efforts. BascoVanVeli: 5 Likes 1 Share |

forgiveness: So you want me to show you defending Ighalo's woeful nonsense as our no 9 like kilode abi? You think you can dribble your way outta this one. Me obviously saying you picking Nacho in ANY lineup is a simple hyperbole. I was MOST DEFINITELY stressing your obvious bias against Nacho which is well known on this same thread. So you talking Simy and Kelechi upfront together is nothing. Absolutely nothing. You still ran around campaigning and showing that Ighalo did not flunk against Croatia (because at its depths, your admitting that he flunked will mean we have to bring in Nacho into the argument as an upgrade on Ighalo) and even insisting that Rohr was spot on to start A woeful Ighalo based on just tactics that limited Croatia. Oga, did we go into that game just to limit Croatia or to win?!! Lol... You are very very funny. You have this knack for defending almost any player playing in that forward role as long as it keeps Nacho on the bench. I know seeing Nacho in the first XI does not give you Joy. I know. You can type 1000 Smileys to try cover it up but I know. Your bias against the kid is f**king obvious and so well documented. So Egbon... Dont forget you met me kn this thread and i know whwre everyone stands on major issues. Your Origins are well known to me... Keep playing the artful dodger... 2 Likes 1 Share

TheSuperNerd:I didn't say Nacho was Messi but if a team can take out the best player in the world then why are we so harsh on our players? U can't overlook the performance and point at the goals lacking. The reason Ighalo is starting was because Nacho struggled as a lone striker and as a result the team also struggled. I will continue to shout that if we can't hold up the ball we will not be able to play our game. The bolded is not good enough. I wanted u to first compare Aguero's performance against Croatia to Ighalo's. Also Iheanacho plays similar to Aguero so what do u think would have happened if he started as a lone striker against Croatia. 2 Likes |

Confirmed Starting Line-up: Uzoho; Ekong, Balogun, Omeruo; Moses, Mikel, Ndidi, Etebo, Idowu; Iheanacho, Musa. I think, this is a much better lineup Colin Udoh deliberately released a fake line-up to throw people off. He mentioned that Rohr was angry that the line-up was released the last time . Apparently, he did it to throw the opponents off. 12 Likes |

It is not about being harsh with Ighalo. It is about the simple fact that a better and more clinical forward sits on the bench for this same poor Ighalo. Finito. If there was no one better, I won't be having this discussion honestly speaking Marvellous speaking. I just want us to win. Goals and the movements that can cause such goals upfront is what we badly need. Not just hold-up plays. Hold up play with no movement is dead just as faith without works is dead. Also, Nacho only struggled in one or two game as a lone striker. That is it. Ighalo has struggled in several more. Iheanacho always has a better chance of nicking a goal or creating one compared to Ighalo. That is just the fact and truth. On Aguero, I have given you an answer. Aguero has a goal compared to Ighalo. Hr scored against that tough Icelandic defence. He was poor against Croatia just as Ighalo was poor. Maybe Ighalo can be said to have fared a little better against same Croatia sef but bottomline, Aguero has a goal. As for what would have happened. All I can say it that we saw Nacho after he came on. We saw his movements and instant impact (ofcos some of you will wanna play it down saying "ehen naa, the Croatian defence were tiring bla bla bla.. Mbanu. Let us be honest. We know Nacho for his intelligent movements too apart from his other attributes. After all, when Kayode came in against Senegal and created that goal chance that helped Nacho win a penalty, we endorsed it as a fine cameo. We didn't say the Senegalese defence was tired). Iheanacho is a better all round threat than Ighalo. This is the honest truth. And for the good of this team, we need our most effective and best results-oriented to stand a better chance or to make our changes jump from good to better. BascoVanVeli: 1 Like 1 Share |

Egbon is saying he would pick Ighalo over KC as a lone striker, but favors KC to start ahead of Ighalo when we are playing with two strikers. Besides, remove the label from people whenever it seems their stance have changed. We are here to learn. I have modified some of my opinions overtime. Only people who think too highly of themselves believe they’ve always known it all, and will never modify their opinions. The reality is no human is all knowing. Forgiveness just stated it several times that he would favor KC ahead of Ighalo when we are playing with two strikers. Please leave it at that. TheSuperNerd: 3 Likes |

Do you even understand the consciousness I refer to? You think I speak of the flesh? Listen up and learn Egbon... This is simple. When a man is born again and has come into salvation, what happens? Is he still his old self? No.. He is a new creature. A new Spirit being is born. His soul needs watering through the constant intake of God's Word. As a Christiam, one's mind is renewed by the WORD and this renewal provides "that Consciousness". Tu comprends? So working it out is important because we can never ever have enough of the WORD. We must keep growing. Do you understand? The more we walk with and dwell on the word, the more our consciousness is alive to God. And then When the infilling of the HolySpirit comes, he now is a carrier of God fully on the inside. He walks with the mind of God. And the mind of God is not a defeatist mindset nor a mind of fear.... The Bible also says " I have not given you the spirit of fear but a sound mind..." See? And about the info... You dropped an initial post painting beautifully the picture of Iceland having beat us before. You so happily described it in fact. Then as if we didn't hear enough, you still wem on to post it and repeated same... Omo ehn... As a true fan, you really shouldn't have overdone it. It is match day. You simply were sowing fear and pessimism without even knowing it. Funny. forgiveness: 2 Likes 1 Share |
