Aceed: H = I^2RT Since the resistors are in parallel, find the resistance. . 1/R =1/40 + 1/40. . When you get the R, then convert 5minutes into seconds. . Then you solve. E= 1.2 * 1.2 * 20 * 300 = 8640J or 8.64KJ 1 Like |

dannyboii1:Since the resistors are connected in parallel, then the voltage will be the same throughout the circuit ie it is constant. This is why it's not required in the calculation. |
