Has he agreed to play for Nigeria?

He is leaning towards us, he even sent us a msg wishing us good luck in this world cup. I doubt he sent similar msg to Denmark. So I think the omen looks good

Rohr is very brave... Let's give it to him... Looking at the team from the qualifiers... No Echiejile no onazi no shehu no iwobi no Simon.... Ezenwa..... He's not afraid to change... Just that he takes too long to.... Typical old man..... After mourihno and okocha criticized him for playing Mikel too far forward... He had to change.....

The Mourinho criticism got to him. I saw his measured reply to Mourinho and thought to myself that he will re assess Mike's position.
I also think, he reads alot and follows trends to feel the pulse of fans and some journalists. I say this because not so long after some of us here suggested the 352 formation, he tried it out in the Argentina friendly.
Not even when some told us that playing 3 at the back was like standing a table on 3 legs. Lol

oga mistakes are bound to happen. the best and world class defenders do commit worst blunders than that of ebuehi. as it stands now he is the most assured player for that position. also i believe joel obi will do well in that position too if tested
goldfish80:
Ebuehi did well no doubt, even better than Idowu managed especially with his drive forward, but he should be cautioned on giving unnecessary fouls away.
He committed a handball in the penalty area which was waved by the referee before the penalty incident.

Man I am not a coward, hence I dont shy away from my messes, I shoulder them and deal with them.

Yes I berated Rohr for his blindness. I asked him to take Moses to the WB role which u objected. I was one if not the first to call for the 352 formation. If the formation had failed, I would have bn the one receiving the sticks.

U were always against d formation, now did I come shouting "I told you" 352 would bring us Victory?

I know I am no Saint, but u definitely are not either

Did you not see the 3-5-2 formation I proposed ahead of the Croatia game?

You think you will just adopt a formation in the middle of the WCQ without first having the opportunity of trying it out?

After the friendlies there was no one analyst here who didn't agree the 3-5-2 is the most suitted for this team.

Look I am also a critique of this team, infact there is hardly any player I have never criticised but one thing I still do is to still believe in the team and that they can get better.

God have mercy. Have u ever seen a 532 formation before? Dont let that pic deceive u, what u have there is 352 not 532 though it becomes 532 when we are defending but the name of the formation is Diamond(352)formation bro.

he seem to fancy the chance of representing us but the football house and rohr has to do the needful by approaching him officially and not waiting for him to make contact first or beg before he will be given a chance. i have seen the kid play severally and followed him well when huddlesfield were in the championship and i must say he has all the qualities to metamorphose into a world class central midfielder in no distance time. he is highly regarded in the epl and was scouted a couple of times by epl teams when he was in the championship.

Please please please don't think of Joel Obi in the wing back position, he loses the ball many times doesn't know how to tackle and doesn't even have the pace to recover

We tried it out throughout the friendlies and it never failed us, but the other one did, yet he left the one dat never failed for the one that failed, it still failed him once again, yet u want me to praise him for causing himself troubles while he alrdy has the answer.

Guy forget, if not for the pundits that hit him hard after that Croatia match, dude might still have repeated Dat formation wt Ighalo and Shehu.

playing for chelsea is a tall dream oga, if they wanted to integrate him into their setup that would have been after 2014 worldcup because omeruo was one of the best young central defenders during the group stages.he should push for a move to a good league maybe the ligue 1,la liga or even the bundesliga. this worldcup should serve as a platform for him to distinguish himself which will attract decent clubs from good leagues who will will jostle for his signature
ChrisKels:
Did anybody notice that suddenly our defense stopped giving miscued passes that always landed in the foot of our opponents. Ekong worst of them all was so impressive with his passes today.

Man Omeruo should fight for his place at Chelsea, he's come of age. Right now I dont think Christensen is better. Otherwise, he should seek an out right transfer to any of the Europe's top five leagues.

Personally I don't see any inconsistency..... Rohr is slow to change even when it's visible to the blind. He killed us against Croatia by starting 4231 with Mikel further forward, shehu and ighalo starting with iwobi on the wings......

352 is our best bet.... Though most didn't see Moses playing the RWB.... Or Mikel dropping deep..... Rohr won this game of chess against the Icelanders today...... We have to wait and see what he has in store for the Argies.

What will then happen if Nigeria win the world cup? That is apart from the man at the top declaring a 1month public holiday.
