Please please please don't think of Joel Obi in the wing back position, he loses the ball many times doesn't know how to tackle and doesn't even have the pace to recover

What will then happen if Nigeria win the world cup? That is apart from the man at the top declaring a 1month public holiday.
I will do like Musa and score a brace.

Don't know if any have answered you but I just wanna say that Chriskels and whosoever said that we started the Argentina game in which we won 4-2 with 3-5-2 are actually correct.

We started with 3-5-2 in the first half with Shehu and Aina as RWB and LWB respectively. But in second half we changed personnel to Ebuehi and Idowu and viola... It clicked like magic. I can show you evidence if you want. wink

**modified**

I can see a few already answered you shaa. wink

shogz89:
I disagree, we used a 352 second half Argentina game only.

Vrsaljko and Rebic will not play against Iceland

In news that's unlikely to please the
Argentina squad or their supporters, Croatia coach, Zlatko Dalic, has announced that now qualification for the World Cup Round of 16 has been secured, he will make significant changes to the starting lineup to face Iceland.
Croatia lead Group D with two wins in two matches after beating Nigeria (2-0) and Argentina (3-0).
"There will be changes in the eleven," Dalic confirmed.
Forgiveness "Those who have yellow cards (Rakitic, Rebic, Mandzukic and Vrsaljko) will not play.
"I would like to be the first in the group, but we have to take care of ourselves."
Brozovic is also suspended for the final group game.

Oga what will happen will happen. No such thing as bad luck. I’ve already shared my insight on what we must do. Rohr needs to get it right. We can’t afford to start slowly all the time. We’ve been on this path before. Do I want us to get to the next round? Yes. But we have to be organized enough to cage Messi as other teams have been doing, and avoid free kicks around our 18. Messi is still very dangerous. I hope Rohr will tell the boys the right things from the start. Messi must be tamed and not over respected. That migit of a devil grin can score 4 goals EASILY on his good day.

So they should be hailing him abi?

Subjecting the team to 6 games without a win. Losing four in the process. I can't remember when last such a terrible form befell SE... So he really deserves all the criticism he got.

How sure are you that Rohr didn't play the 352 out of pressure from Nigerians.

You're as good as your last match and that's how it should be.

Losing four in which process? During friendlies... And what yield the result Now?

And if he didn't succumb to the so called Nigeria pressure... What Wil happen? Who tell you say Rohr dey read all this wailing... He has nothing to lose... He is going to be 70 yrs soon...

We should respect and give him due respect that's all am asking for.. .
He is a good coach

Yes we need to win. No calculations. Get that early goal. Protect it, and rely on counters to add to the tally. Oh I didn’t say earlier, I love that Mikel role today.

Hkana:

In addition, our defence should be more disciplined. We've given away 2 penalties already in the 2 matches played. The Argies would be looking to get some too.

Hopefully we don't give them.

Anybody here with a means of reaching the team should do well to extend our pleasure to the team and to tell them to get into the Argentina match with the "we WILL beat them" mindset.

I think I better do this late than never.

A big Congratulations to Icon4s because he was one who hammered on the team having the potential of standing a physical side. That was before the four nil thrashing of Cameroon.

Today's game was against one of the most physical sides and the young men were up to the task.

Am I the only one who noticed an act of jealousy being displayed by Ighalo today against Iceland?

In the first scenario, which was just immediately Musa scored the second goal, Ighalo swiftly beckoned on Rohr to let him in apparently so as to prove himself as a better option.

Secondly, Ighalo had an option to drop a flick pass to Musa who was goal bound but deliberately held on to the ball until Iwobi appeared before releasing the ball to Iwobi who eventually fired a short only to hit an Icelandic defender.

I want to believe the coach will see all of these and talk to this players before our game against Argentina.

I won't lie,I developed some headache after the first half...we were so dull and the Icelanders kept threatening us with their counter attack and set pieces...I literally had my heart in my mouth..
For once in a while,Rohr made the right call by subbing in Ebuehi for Idowu ..Idowu has shown that he isn't as good as we thought...after the world cup he should be dropped and a more natural left back should be invited and Aina must b given his spot at RB.

We really played well in the second half... I was particularly impressed with the way we dealt with aerial balls. it was amazing.... I hope to see the same lineup against Argentina next week(won't mind subbing Etebo for Iwobi though)...
I'm very confident of beating them...

I hope Rohr keys into today's performance and stop holding the team back with negative play. We should always have a brave set-up. From our camping to our selection of players, the mindset should be to play in a brave fashion.

playing for chelsea is a tall dream oga, if they wanted to integrate him into their setup that would have been after 2014 worldcup because omeruo was one of the best young central defenders during the group stages.he should push for a move to a good league maybe the ligue 1,la liga or even the bundesliga. this worldcup should serve as a platform for him to distinguish himself which will attract decent clubs from good leagues who will will jostle for his signature
In all fairness, Omuero deserved a look in after the 2014 worldcup. He was outstanding.

Even now, I'll pick him ahead of Rudiger.

Well, football is all about oppotunity-Sir Komekn has always said this.
