Icon4s: I am always up for the better than depending on chance. The simple question is, who has better abilities and quality to deliver those runs, have skill and also contribute defensively, it is Moses. Then play the better person. Ebuehi is prolific on the right wing back role. Settled. |

BascoVanVeli: Exactly! In my opinion, Iheanacho was more likely to lose than Musa. Musa after that dribble was so balanced that he could score with his eye closed. Iheanacho who would very likely hit it first time had just one EASY corner to put it, Musa had TWO easy corners to put it. The middle was out of it. But if Musa had released the pass just when the keeper rushed out, it would have been in Iheanacho's favor but after the dribble, it was Musa's goal to lose. 2 Likes

TheGoodJoe:still I am not out of context. Enyeama's brilliance isnt part of the "chaining"? come on now As far as am concerned, Messi's stars are not shining for him in this World cup and I say to hell with reputation he can be stopped |

TheGoodJoe: Only the gullible will believe the bolded. Ogbeni Moses would rather fall looking for a free kick that the ref would over look because Moses is known to the refs as a "fallmaniac" Please stop dragging us back. I beg u in the name of whatever trips u d most 5 Likes |

TheGoodJoe: I think Musa took the safer and easier option. A pass would have complicated things the more. The best option was taken. |

TheGoodJoe: Wing back is Moses' strength. Let him flourish there. He won't get penalty with his diving in this world cup. |

Odunayaw: Yes there is a formula to football and a lot of teams are adapting to it. It is called the time and space formula. A simple understanding of it is get the ball to the player with more time and space. |

mank1234: Moses has more to offer the team. He did not become the joker of the team playing the wing back role. |

Icon4s: PsyKolo What? How can you ascertain his psychology that day? He can play the role but I have no doubt Victor Moses will offer more offensively and defensively for the team in that role. |

TheGoodJoe:Long talk Sir Whatever you may call it, there is one thing that must never be taken away from a player. Initiative Sir. We do not want timid players, Musa was in the right position to score and that split second decision found the net, no one has the time for mathematical models |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by ChrisKels: 1:00pm On Jun 23, 2018 |
Certitude: But this thing u said has no correlation with what I was trynna correct nah. GoodJoe said he wants Mikel ahead of Etebo and Ndidi in his fantasy formation, then I said no, that I would rather have him partner Ndidi while Etebo plays ahead of the two. Back to ur argument, we played double pivot against Iceland, Mikel didn't play behind Ndidi |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by TheGoodJoe(m): 1:01pm On Jun 23, 2018 |
Odunayaw: If we gave Initiative to players, there would be no team work and lack of cohesion will bring destruction. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by TheGoodJoe(m): 1:03pm On Jun 23, 2018 |
ChrisKels: Mikel in that formation will make a lot of contributions defensively but I would prefer Etebo tracking the Argentine runners. I want Mikel to have liberty to exploit the running of Iheanacho, Moses, Ebuehi and Idowu while our midfield and defense stay compact. |

forgiveness:did change of coach relegate Enyeama after the World Cup? Uzoho will be number 1 for a long time, because new coaches rarely change #1 goalies as long as they have proven to be good. And despite your reservations, the rest of the world has seen that Uzoho is good, even controversial Oliseh was impressed by the boy. Na only you know wetin you still dey find 2 Likes |

TheGoodJoe:Initiative isn't absence of discipline. We weren't controlling the game with a PS2 pad now, were we? Initiative is an example of Ndidi's long ranger.. it is that spark that differentiate a player from footballers |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by chimzyblack(m): 1:05pm On Jun 23, 2018 |
We don't need any Moses as part of the front two,he is better in the wing back role, he loves direct runs, and playing him as part of the front two means depriving him of the space he enjoys. Musa also loves to run too but the difference between musa and Moses is that Moses is too direct with his runs but musa is not so direct he can easily make those swift turn that can confuse the defenders while in MOTION and this is very key to scoring goals. MY PREFARED LINE-UP FOR ARGENTINA UZOHO EKONG-BALOGUN-OMERUO MOSES-NDIDI-MIKEL-IWOBI-IDOWU IHEANACHO-MUSA # IWOBI to play an Am/Cm role and will start ahead of Etebo He (etebo) didn't offer much going forward much as an AM, there were two occasions where Etebo had the chance to lay a good pass to Iheanacho or musa instead he opted to shoot and was blocked on both occasion an IWOBI would have given a defence splitting pass that could have resulted in a goal or at least a better attempt at goal. SUBS 1.Etebo comes in for Iwobi btw the 60-70 minute. 2.Ebuehi for Idowu. 3.Simi for Iheanacho 1 Like |
