WHAT IS DIABETES?
After our previous article on main causes of diabetes types and treatment, we will treat 12 signs of diabetes in this ongoing tutorial.

Another thing about diabetes is this: it is a condition in which the body is unable to process food for efficient usage. Remember this also, our body functions normally because most of the foods we eat is turned into glucose or sugar for energy production. And those sugar and glucose are what give the body its energy level. A diabetic is always weak or fatigue due to lack of sufficient energy.

The pancreas, which is the organ that lies under the stomach, produce a hormone called insulin. Insulin is a  hormone secreted by the issle of Langerland in the pancreas. Insulin regulates the storage of glucose in the liver and accelerate oxidation of sugar in  cells.

So when a person have diabetes, it because of the insulin level in the pancreas is not sufficient or the body can't use it own insulin as well as it should. This causes sugar to build up in the patient body. That is why  people refer diabetes to "sugar disease."

Apart from the seriousness of the sickness itself, diabetes have other serious complication issues, such as kidney failure, blindness, heart disease etc.  Research has shown that diabetes is   the sixth leading cause of death in industrial and developed nations like USA, UK and Canada.

Signs of diabetes
There are many symptoms  of diabetes, but people with diabetes is due to lack of enough insulin, should visit physician for diagnosis. There are still some known or obvious signs of diabetes mellitus. They are


1.Very dry skin

2.Frequent urination
