Some Dudes won't stop amusing you on this Thread. How are they so sure Iheanacho would bang the Goal had Musa passed to him?! Do they ever think he might yakubu the Ball? Musa was in a better position to score than Iheanacho, and had he passed the Ball and Iheanacho failed to score, he would have been bashed beyond Redemption by the same set of Fans - for over-hitting the pass, made the pass behind Iheanacho and so on. Iheanacho time will come, perhaps he's gonna be the shining Light against the Argies. This is Musa's Moment, we are all Nigerians and shouldn't be looking for any sort of flimsy Excuses to berate a Player's right Call on the Pitch. Musa was never believed in by majority of us. Majority wanted him dropped, we condemned him, abused him, crucified him, unfairly criticized him - Alas! He saved us from crashing out prematurely, but some are finding the Victory tasting bitter coz it wasn't their Favorite who scored the Brace or at least a Goal?! We get a bigger Game on Tuesday. Let's discuss our Chances, criticize the Lapses we saw in the last Match, and suggest the possible Solutions. I'm certain if at all the Coaching Crew are visiting social Media for criticism, they would surely jam this Thread too. 15 Likes 3 Shares

tbaba1234:What chances did we create with Nacho? Iirc, Musa almost fashioned out his two goals by himself. Btw, if Ighalo had been quicker with his decision, we would have scored more. As a matter of fact, the team looked more potent with Ighalo because he and Musa played like proper forwards and took up great positions while anticipating the ball in the process unlike Nacho who was forming one stupid activity and losing possession as well. Abeg, watch Dybala play as SS and come back and tell me if that was how Nacho played. Yeye. 4 Likes |

For the love of God! Can we drop this argument about who could have passed the ball? We have an important game in two days and we are busy arguing about passing balls. Just be happy the ball entered the net. For all we know, Musa did not even see Kelechi, he was probably too focused on scoring to see who dey him front. The situation is not always as cut and dry as we may want it to seem. We know what the image says, but the image never tells the whole story Drop the argument mbok. Good morning 6 Likes |

Kog45: Ogu was far better than Mikel against England and Czech and what more? He was able to switch our play with series of long passes to release our wingbacks in those 2 matches. Even Idowu was balling in those matches because he was able to foray forward although his endproduct was rubbish as usual. So stop saying what you don't know. |

Please guys, how true is this ; We only need a draw with Argentina and it doesn’t depend on the result of the match between Croatia and Iceland. If Iceland beats Croatia with 10 goals, it doesn’t matter because they will only have 4 points and a draw with Argentina will give us 4 points then head to head rule will be applied and because we beat Iceland then we shall take 2nd position and qualify into the next round. |

Truidstar:The team looked more potent is different from Ighalo scored or assisted a goal? Comprehende? The fact is we looked more like scoring more goals with Ighalo in the team. He was able to take up great position to unsettle the Iceland defenders who focussed on him because he was a threat unlike Nacho. The let down was Ighalo decision making like I stated earlier. I just hope Musa won't be man marked by the Argentines and with no other forward to act as a threat to relieve Musa the pressure, he will be in for a long game. 1 Like |

diadem10:You need to wear binoculars when watching next time or rewatch that game wearing one. Mikel gave a lot of long passes though the accuracy can be improved if some of the passes were wider instead of inwards. Ighalo would not have been in Musa's position (in front of the first defender) for the first goal. He usually goes to the back of even the second defender to the ball. Even when he came on and beat the defender similar to what Musa did for the second goal, Ighalo didn't have the mental coordinate to make it count in any way. Ighalo contributes minimally in the coordination and build up unlike ihenacho. When last did he score, assist or contribute in goal build up? Ighalo can be better given his physic but he has to improve his positioning and decisiveness. 3 Likes |

If u know.., u know From Iceland's coach; “Where we met Mikel was contrary to our preparation and all our attempts to change did not work. He was all over the place both back and front. I commend him and the entire Nigerian team. They were better." 16 Likes 1 Share |

for us to do well on Tuesday against Argentina, Moses and iheanacho must give their best. The Argentines will want to cage musa because they know what he can do. To shift attention, etebo must be strong Too to help Moses and lheanacho. I believe we’ll conquer them. Copied 1 Like |

diadem10:which Argentine wants to man mark Musa? If they mark Musa, they cannot mark Kelechi. Somebody is telling you that Argentina defense and midfield is rubbish and you are saying they will man mark Musa, how? Is it the forwards that will mark him? Have you ever seen Musa being marked successfully? Please take this your Ighalo talk to a British forum. You guys will just come out of nowhere and be wishing the team bad luck with your poorly thought-out suggestions 5 Likes 1 Share |

ChrisKels:They just dont know how much mikel contributes. He anchors the game in midfield (instead of the team being anchored at the back and dictates play), throws enough forward pocket passes to and positions himself within reach of other players to help them. Also makes important runs backwards to prevent fine shooting opportunities from opponents Ndidi did fine too to make timely interceptions and shed the defenders and provide them a steady route out. 5 Likes |

princfred:He played more backward passes. I stated in my other post that Mikel took up great position but he was retrogressive with his passes especially in the 1st half. On your second point, leave Musa to do his thing. No be today I know Musa in that SS role. He needs no one to do his thing in that role. Even when Ighalo came on, Musa was still a threat and could have scored the third goal if Ighalo was quick with his decision. And you're wrong, Ighalo's positioning is good. Can't say the same for his decision making. 1 Like |
