I am not interested and I insist

please all the players should return back to their clubs after losing out...don't bother to come back to nigeria again.
until we implement death sentence or jail term to any player who performed woefully.that is when we will get things right.
I read saudi arabia will be punishing their players who lost 5-0 to russia.
super eagles does not deserve a kobo for this participation.they can keep the useless overhyped jersey and continue taking pictures with their thumbs up in europe

Typical ijot!!!

After watching Rebic, Modric & Rakitic destroy Lionel Messi & CO, this is how Nigeria should line up against Argentina:

Uzohic
Balogunkic
Ekongic
Ebuehic
Omeruvic
Ndidic
Etebovic
Mikelic
Musaic
Ihenachodric
Mosikic

Well, FIFA will definitely be on Argentina's side despite that they'll play their boots off, cheat, dive and tackle the eagles dangerously. Our team really need to hunker down and avoid soft penalties since this is where FIFA will be waiting to assist Argentina.

This match would probably be the most important match Nigeria has ever played in the World Cup since 1994.
It's like a final.Nigeria needing just a draw to qualify and Argentina in a must win game.
I am so scared and tensed because of what we would face and the still unpredictable nature of this team.
But what would really hurt the most is seeing Argentina, with such a poor team and a poorer Messi qualifying at our expense after Nigeria has done all the hard work against Iceland and Argentina being exposed as a group of over hyped average players.
Even if we go out in the 2nd round, its better than being defeated by this poor Argentina team.
Super Eagles can defeat Argentina if we believe and don't go into the match playing the kind of negative, defensive, lacklustre game we had against Croatia, but rather the aggressive, fast, energy exerting second half we had against Iceland.

My earlier predictions before the world Cup was Argentina 3 - Nigeria 0.

But hey, it's football and Nigeria can win or draw.

2-2. Nigeria will score first, Argentina will equalize and take the lead with 2-1; then Nigeria will equalize in the 83rd minute.

As it stands, if Nigeria is willing to proceed to the knockout stage, they should'nt allow Messi to touch the ball cos that's what Croatia used in beating them

A big game, this.

The midfield battle will determine where this goes.

Trying to cut the supply to Messi should be the strategy.

I hope Sampaoli makes the mistake of playing a four man midfield like he did against Croatia. Get Ndidi and Etebo to hassle and harry old man Mascherano in that midfield, and they could be in trouble again.

And more importantly, we should try our best to tackle with sense inside the D-box. Those guys will try to draw fouls from us seeing we've conceded two PKs already in two games.

Rooting for the Eagles.

Cutting supplies to Messi will not work as Messi does not rely on supplies. He always goes deep to collect the ball himself.

My advise is that the Eagles play with serious consciousness. They should ensure to close all gaps.

This match should be the easiest for us if our players go in with the right mindset. The mindset that Argentina is beatable. Argentina are under the pressure to survive so they are very likely to hit the ground running from the blast of the whistle. The Eagles must have the game plan to frustrate as well as make quick breaks.

Everyone must be involved in play, even Uzoho. Uzoho must understand that modern football has evolved to include goalkeepers in play creation. He should kick the ball with purpose. Enough of shooting aimlessly. Then, he should be given penalty trainings. Twice, he has been sent the wrong way because of his hasty dives. Enyeama had this problem early in his career but he soon learnt to manage it. There is nothing bad in going the wrong way but that is not the issue. The issue is that Uzoho just dives.

I repeat that this is Nigeria's chance to record a first World Cup victory over Argentina. All we need is the right frame of mind. We need to believe we can do it. Iceland held them and Croatia beat them. Now, they are angry and desperate to qualify. They will definitely make more mistakes than usual and the Eagles must be conscious enough to watch for mistakes and punish them.

For choice of players, Ebuehi should start as he is more adventurous and yet dependable in the back than Idowu. Omerue is very solid and his presence allowed Balogun venture forward. Balogun is a potential scorer of cornerkicks for us. One day, he will bury a header. Might even be against Argentina on Tuesday. There should be no space for Ighalo.
