Oga Musa was started to score, he worked for the ball, raised his head up, saw a clear coast after beating 2 defenders and the GK, picked his spot and scored. There is nothing like better option in that situation. The best option is the option that got the job done. Did Musa get the job done? So please concentrate on how Iheanacho will score his against Argentina or how we can create more chances for our strikers come 26th and stop flogging a dead horse. TheGoodJoe: 3 Likes 1 Share |

darkelf:Simy and Ighalo, the two most immobile forwards in our team is who you want to start in a 3-5-2 that requires mobility & agility from the forwards? Why fix what is not broken? Tweaking the formation game after game won't help the coordination of the team. 8 Likes |

TheGoodJoe: There is nothing to talk to Musa about. He did what he was asked to do -score- The coast was clear and he scored, nothing says Iheanacho would have scored if he was passed to or can you guarantee that? 4 Likes |

komekn: Iheanacho was scoring , Simmy is also in form. Enough of this nonsense with Ighalo and his ball holding abilities. I was one of his ardent supporters here but its obvious he is out of ideas. After getting many chances to prove himself Ighalo has failed and continue to fail, time to take a bow 1 Like |

safarigirl: 2 proper forwards that can give us the presence upfront is the key. One is Musa. The other could be Simy, Nacho or Ighalo. Not Ogu nor Iwobi. Ogu is better off as a substitute for Mikel or one of the centreback trio while Iwobi could come in for Etebo. But Etebo is more defensively sound than Iwobi and that will be needed against the Argentines eventhough he's not as creative as Iwobi.. Back to the forwards, it has to be one of Simy Nwankwo, Ighalo odion and Iheanacho to play alongside Musa as our 2 forwards. A pity we haven't seen more of Simy hence we can't guage how good he will be in the role. All with different skillset as forwards. 1 Like |

Shukusheka: So, combining iobi and simy isn't a good idea? Do you think the Argentine would give Musa those opportunities? Is it until we get baely beaten against them you'll know that using Musa and nacho isn't a good idea? 1 Like |

Someone said Argentina Defenders, would man mark musa How is it possible to man mark someone with speed It never possible except if the player is not in form. The players doing the man marking will commit blunder one way or the other, you think say e dey easy to run with moving ball enter the box 18 Nawa oooo.(if you notice that the way musa entered the box 18 the iceland defender wasn't able to get musa, the defender was also trying to hold his hand but it never easy to catch someone with speed & running with ball, one kain morale dey always dey sha ni) VicMoses , you can't man mark him no matter the position because he would still find way to dazzle. Anyone playing on the wing let always give kudos, it never easy the day i played 2 facing one of the best dribbler on campus i was frustrated because you won't have time to catch your breathe at all. Where god go punish you dem go use one two finish you . 4 Likes |

diadem10:he's talking about changing the players, not necessarily the forwards alone Iwobi has dealt with them before, he can do it again, he and Musa also played together in that game and Musa had the assist for his second goal. So, Iwobi should be ahead of Ighalo and Simy if we are talking forwards that can play with Musa 2 Likes |

TheGoodJoe: from this picture he could have clearly put it under the GK and he would have scored. Besides no sane striker would pass that ball, even if its Messi asking for that pass you can't pass to him, that's your moment of glory. 7 Likes |

TheGoodJoe:how many times have we scored a goal from WB? Our team currently lacks creativity. We can only hope for a better result against Argentina. It's two days to the game but I must confess I already have my heart in my hand. We should be discussing on how to contain Argentina's attack and be clinical in our finishing. No room for complacency. I appreciate the boys not posting pictures yet as it makes me believe they're aware of the magnitude of the game ahead of us |

TheGoodJoe:Another angle would be that passing back from here, which is what passing to kelechi is, would give the other defender enough time to recover. So it isn't certain Kelechi would score. Also, was it not here that people attacked Owen when he said Kelechi should have passed when he scored from a difficult position, why the double standard now? 6 Likes |

LieDetector: the space we gave them on that first half would be suicidal against Argentina I hope we start the way we finished that Iceland game(it wasn't the perfect match either because we still left spaces but at least if we can manage to outscore them it would still be the same) because this is a wounded team, if they take a two goal lead they'd want to use us and turn on the screw and send out a message. We really shouldn't leave that kinda space for Messi at all 1 Like |

darkelf:how can you combine Iwobi and Simy? In a key game like this, you cannot field players whose capabilities are largely unknown You can field Iwobi with Musa or Iheanacho, but allow Simy keep Ighalo company on the bench. You cannot be taking such a dangerous risk for a game this important As far as I am concerned, the line up against Iceland can do damage to Argentina. There is no studying that the Argentine team want to study that will nullify that team. They don't have the personnel to nullify that team. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Should we be using 3:5:2 against Argentina come Tuesday knowing fully well they will have more attackers on the field of play than midfielders/defenders? 2 Likes |
