Mickael2: a no read ready start digging instances but there are many cases from Tevez and Rooney, Ronaldo and Romario, Gabriel Jesus and Aguero, where they had the chance to score and chose to pass to the other in better position. Finito. |

Oasis007: This is one thing most guys in here fail to understand. Guy I dont shy away from bashing anybody, and I dont bitter when bashed as long as I went over board. But trust me, one thing I dont do is keeping malice. This is a faceless forum so I think it's illogical being in enmity with someone u dont even know. We all are here for one thing/interest and no one loves the team more than the other 2 Likes 1 Share |

Mickael2:I'm more worried about Argentina's attack against our defense. Can we contain them? |

Mickael2: You cant compare Barcelona squad with that of Argentina. They are miles apart. Remove the attack from Argentina and you are left with shafts 3 Likes |

TheGoodJoe: now I have actually watched the video. Baba, Musa had to beat his own man, he fashioned that chance out of nothing unlike Anderson's own that was all about passes and passes. Tevez created the chance for Anderson and shifted in immediately for a return pass, that is way way different from what happened |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by OMANBALA1: 11:41am On Jun 24, 2018 |
Icon4s: Spot on ,and thats why you need VicMo to be discipline and dont go thinking he is a winger because dude already thinks he is the star player of the team. Ebuehi will definitely start, who to me is one of the most disciplined player we have in the team. We need to play very physical with these guys and thats why Musa, Etebor,Ndidi and Mikel had to start. If I have the power I would drop Moses, move Etebor to RWB and bring Iwobi in Etebor's position to give us more vision. 1 Like |

safarigirl: You're right. Iwobi is actually a better creative version of Nacho but not as strong. We would have to forget about our aerial threat upfront though and I fear that the team won't have a proper no 9 striker because for all of Musa goals, he's still not a lead striker but just a SS, likewise Iwobi who isn't a striker. But I'm all for trying both Musa and Iwobi as our 2 forwards. I know Iwobi is alway a threat. |

darkelf: you will bench musa because they plan to mark him out?? why won't Argentina bench messi because we planning to mark him out too?? bros Argentina don't even have the kinda defenders that can defend musa speed, musa playing as a striker is dealing with the central defenders and not the wingers, most defenders are slow |

Mujtahida:It was a close shave last night for them. Although, I think that last minute goal was a destiny changing goal. In most cases, when a team suffers and get that goal which snatches victory from the jaws of defeat, such a team usually go far. I call it destiny changing goal. 2 Likes |

somehow: that is why I said we should be more concerned with outscoring them. Their attack still is deadly which is why I am more concerned with their attack and how we van stifle it as much as we can |

Icon4s: Then that means the right players must start. At least 3 fast paced players to lead the front. Then strong midfielders Plus defenders with less errors. |

TheGoodJoe: Nnaa, I get your point but if you have ever played soccer wella you will understand the state of mind Musa was in that moment. I mean, he dusted a defender, a goalkeeper and now standing right in front of the net and you say pass....At that point he felt like a king Kong and you say pass. If he was gonna pass it should have been after beating the defender. 1 Like |

TheGoodJoe: LMAO..... of course he was! But have you re-watched the Match?! I swear it's gonna be hard for Iheanacho to score the Goal had Musa passed to him coz there are 2 Defenders covering the Posts already. Iheanacho gonna need time to adjust, calculate before aiming the Net, and the Question is; do we really get the time?! Musa was the perfect Man for the Job, he needed no reason to pass coz he's motivated already, fully immersed in the Spirit and had eyes and mind on scoring the Goal. pls let's end this Discourse, coz that's not what we should be discussing now. 6 Likes |
