LieDetector: Ebuehi will commit alot of fouls and even PK playing as a LWB. If we are wise, we bench him or use him as RWB. He cant use a makeshift right legged player as Left back against a team like Argentina looking all out for goals. I repeat we will chop goals if Ehuehi is used as LWB. 3 Likes |

olapluto:No be only you. I don talk am since. The Video refs are biased with their decisions. This won't be the first. Prior to the first penalty, Lingard was in an offside position. He even used style dress the ball before he went down under that challenge. But na the Pk interest them. Mtcheew |

Dannyxy: this one is not about balls, its about how we defend. See the criminal spaces we were giving to the Iceland midfield, we were well aware that Sirgudsson is a set piece master yet we kept on dashing them over and again, thankfully they kept on missing and since we won we are going to leave those spaces again against Argentina. Now if you leave that kinda space against teams who have a player that deals with small small pockets of space like Argentina or Brazil or Belgium it will not work because their best player will keep on getting on the ball allowing him more time to do damage. If we leave half as much space as we did against Iceland for Messi and co we will regret it that's for sure 2 Likes |

diadem10: Our young inexperienced goalkeeper is not comfortable rolling it out from the back. He will most often kick it out, particularly as I suspect Argentina will play a HIGH PRESSING game against us. When a ball is kicked out its mostly 50/50. However, with Ighalo you have physicality and aerial ability that ball against Argentina's defenders will become a 70/30 in our favour. Add hold up play with Musa operating either from behind or ahead of him. That creates many options particularly when you add the pace of Musa. KC represents no Aerial threat, no physicality and as a result he can be buzzing around with no end product or impact. Etebo is ESSENTIAL he is the only player in my opinion that can do a man marking job on Messi and succeed. I haven't seen much of Simi and can't say much about him. His little cameo when he came on for about 8 minutes didn't show anything outstanding. So my first preference is Ighalo without question. |

somehow: Do u now agree with me that Aina wasn't given a just appraisal? I doubt he was worst than Ebuehi on the the left wing back position. If only Aina was also tried out on the right(his primary position) like Ebuehi but, I doubt he would have been as bad as Shehu. 4 Likes |

Eleniyan15: Musa first name on the team sheet. Ask any defender what's your greatest fear and it's BLISTERING PACE you simply can not defend against it. Look at the Argentines Otamendi will be left for dead by Musa. I actually expect Musa to score. With Ighalo holding up play or nodding it on for Musa to run on to it, expect GOALS. 4 Likes |

olapluto:Naaah, VAR didn't favour England against Tunisia, they had many blatant penalty decisions not given. Ronaldo didn't get a penalty against Morocco, and Denmark been penalised for an handball that wasn't deliberate. |

ChrisKels: Aina plays as LB for his club unlike Ebuehi so i wouldn't say such. Aina wouldnt have faired better. Not like Ebuehi is totally bad in that Iceland game but against a team like Argentina with wicked wingers. Its best we don't take that risk. Shehu was never bad, was just attack minded enough. |

komekn:I would love Ighalo to patner Musa as well. He has all the spec to complement Musa's skill set. His holdup play is top notch as well as his anticipation. His drawback is his decision making and laziness. His finishing is less desirable also. |

Oasis007: It's very difficult for a tall player to mark and or tackle a short player. This is Messi we are talking about, I can see Ndidi getting yellow cards and perish the thought a Red. Etebo is short and has better mobility and a bit more guile. He is the best man for the job. 2 Likes |

komekn: When did Ighalo have aerial treat ??, how many goals have he scored with his head for us ??, does it mean hold up play is equal to goals ?. If we use ighalo and musa on tuesday, i pity us cos they will be isolated as hell and u will come back here to blame mikel for not supplying him balls. 2 Likes |

LieDetector: In this formation we have Zero AERIAL THREAT and no Physicality up front which means no HOLD UP PLAY. You have a very young inexperienced goalkeeper who his first option is to kick the ball out. Who will pick up the ball and hold it up? |

BascoVanVeli:Banega, Lo celso are good midfielders. Dimaria is also a good boxbox CM. I think the best way Argentina can utilise their best players is to deploy a 442 diamond with Messi at the tip of the diamond behind Dybala and Aguero as the forwards. Get in Dimaria and Banega behind Messi with either Lo Celso or Mascherano anchoring the base of the midfield. If I were the coach, I would pick Lo Celso and move Mascherano to the CB position or even bench him. |
