somehow:Don't mind all these people calling for Ebuehi to start at LWB, as if he was so spectacular in that position against iceland. The reason Rohr brought on Ebuehi, was because Idowu was on a yellow card. Well, i know Rohr will not make that mistake of starting Ebuehi at LWB on Tuesday. 1 Like |

diadem10:For where? Forget that thought. Argentina wont even try to control the midfield. I think they will just want to throw the kitchen sink at us. 6 strikers and 4 defenders. Moses and Musa must be licking their lips. |

olapluto:VAR is a very good outlet to fix matches and ensure the big teams make it far in the tournament. Yesterday the Swedes had a stone wall penalty denied and VAR wasn't even called into use because that would mean a penalty against Germany. They would have had to play almost 80 minutes a man down too. Seems very easy to call for VAR against teams like Nigeria, Panama, Tunisia etc. 1 Like |

BascoVanVeli: Because we always associate World class with Argentina doesn't mean thier midfielders are carpenters. |

One of the many reasons we won against Iceland was Ebeuhi. He opened up the left channel for us and freed up Musa and also vicmo on the right channel as they began to commit more men to mark him, Musa and Etebo. The only error was the penalty and anybody can make such mistake. Practically our wing back shut down the Icelandic attackers in the 2nd half due to Ebehuis presence. 10 Likes |

If you want to know how useless an African team can be, watch Tunisia against Panama and see how they would only salvage a draw against Panama. 10 Likes |

somehow: Aina has been playing RB and or RWB since he was 15 even at Chelsea he combined with V.Moses as a RB. It was only when he went to Hull on loan that he was called on to play LB and on right side of midfield. Coming on as a sub is a lot easier to make an impression. But that's old news now and the matter is over. hopefully lessons have been learned. Was Aina given a fair chance to prove himself, it's open to debate. |

KevinDein:Why would you need VAR to fix matches when you have the referee to do so? VAR does not make decisions, referees do. |

England flogged Panama 6-1 It's on this forum that it was stated Kane is over hyped by quite a few. The England team is rubbish, English players are not good just media hype . Well I wonder what they will say now. |

Shukusheka:Sanity is not prevailing in the Argentine camp at the moment. Apparently the players are to pick the starting 11, while the coach just siddon look. Going by history, Argentina vs Nigeria has always been tough, and usually seperated by a moment of lapse by Nigeria. We sure can change that on Tuesday. |

olapluto: Did you watch Di Maria performance as a box-box CM for Madrid, albeit for 6 months? As a matter of fact he's more consistent as a box-box than as a winger. Anyway, I doubt Argentina would employ a wise route against us. There are in disarray already but one fact is Musa will be marked out 'cos all eyes is already on him. |

komekn:aerial duels so far have not been our forte. We play a low passing counter attacking football. What have Ighalo's aerial battles yielded in the matches we've lost? If quick counter attacking is our weapon, we have to make optimum use of it hence my suggested line up. |

Who tops the group if the game between England vs Belgium ends in a draw? GD same and goals scored same, would it go down to fair play? |

Ighalo DID NOT BEG ROHR TO COME IN. After rewatching our win against Iceland many times, especially FIFA.com highlight, I can safely say Ighalo was not begging to come on. He was already warming up before the goal. After the goal, he asked if he was still NEEDED or if the coach wanted to defend the 2 goals, in which case he wouldnt need to increase his warm up tempo. |

Mickael2:true talk but I would say different teams will mean different tactics and approaches. The kind of space you can afford to give Iceland you don't need a football analyst to tell you would be suicidal if given to argentina I expect us to be more compact but we have to find a way to ensure we have some possession to ease the expected attacking bursts from them 1 Like |
