Senegalese midfield has been non-existent, why bench Kouyate for Badou? |

chrisooblog: That's absolutely correct, he is young, expectedly nervous and inexperienced. He takes the safest option for a goalkeeper not confident in the players in front of him. This will be a continous theme with Uzoho. That means you must to create an aerial option for him. Against Iceland that happened too many times. Against a better Argentina we can concede possession so cheaply. Ighalo is our best option with regards to aerial ability hold-up play and a threatening physical presence. This means Musa can feed off Ighalo. I am certain Ighalo will bully the Argentine defence. This is something that Iwobi or KC simply can not do. |

Senegal's right flank combo of Wague and Sarr has been more potent than the left flank that has Sabaly and Mane. Wague is a good crosser of the ball but he and Sarr are guilty in that goal. That said, Salif is a beautiful Centre back. Who saw how he collected that ball in the air with a thrown out right foot? |

komekn:I understand why you suggest ighalo yes he has decent hold up play but my concern about him like everyone else is his potency and dynamism front of goal. I wouldn't have a problem with him if he made up for his lack of goals with ability to assist his strike partner or at least bring his fellow players into play unfortunately he does none of those |

tbaba1234:Goals scored comes before head to head. I think FIFA want to encourage teams to play positive football and score lots of goals. |

BascoVanVeli: That guy just came on and he don tire already. Besides, our players should learn from that freekick. The Swedish players ought to have rushed the Germans as soon as he passed the ball but they they gave them luxury of time to execute their plan. Lesson learnt. Anybody wey dey for Nigerian camp dey read dis, abeg help me tell them to rush any freekick leg touch once because once a player touches the ball, that tantamount to freekick taken. Thank you. 4 Likes |

Mickael2: Bros you have been shouting since that we leave behind spaces and i wonder whether you have taken your time to truly watch our iceland game again?.... I have re-watch the match severally especially the second half and what was so glaring in the game was the fact that iceland left so many spaces between them. We had our half and the entire field properly covered. In the second half in particular, iceland players bombed forward at every slight opportunity leaving behind several gaps in the middle for us to exploit If we were a more ruthless team, they should have conceded 5 goals from us.. Go and watch the second half again, every time iceland launched a long ball forward and our back 3 nodded back the ball to the middle, it always fell back to our on rushing midfielder. I REPEAT, this happened every time. 3-5-2 is a blessing to us |

goldfish80: That is interesting. I do not see Iceland beating Croatia with 2 unreplied goals. In the Qualifiers, they defended and scored the odd goal. Good thing, it is in our own hands. |

Cisse should plz sub in Kouyate. That midfield is so bad. Modified; he just did and it's yeilding result already. I actually thought Badou would be the one going out instead of badou among the two Ndiayes Sweet goal from my boy Wague |

I am not saying Ighalo is exceptional. However, Iheanacho that you clamouring for has also done next to nothing this year in the National Jersey. All the games he has played for us he had just one shot on target, that tame shot against DRC. Against Iceland he had no shot on target, no assist, one shot ridiculously off target, no area ball won, he did practically nothing better than Ighalo in that match. However, when Ighalo came in, he had One shot on target, won two area balls yet you are clamouring for someone who was begging for a tap in to start ahead of Ighalo. #Sentiment safarigirl: 2 Likes |

The amount of balls that Senegal has lost to Japan in the air is appalling. |
