But that one na rubbish na. i scored 10 and conceded 10, someone that scored 3 and conceded 3 will now lose out? if you're so good, why did you concede 10 na?
I think it's not fair too. But it's Goal scored before H2H

I actually thought it is your net goals that is counted. ( Total goals scored minus total goals conceded).
Icon4s:

It is not.

That Rule is almost as old as FIFA itself.

If we are both on +0 goals and i beat you on H2H, who wins?
The team that scored the highest goals wins. E.g if iceland wins tomorrow 2-0 and we draw 0-0, they would progress because even though we both would be on +0 goals, they scored 3 while we scored 2.

Can you please remind me of any of his deadly freekick that almost led to a goal because I can't remember one?

It was for that reason Etebo took over from him. I guess?

However, I can still remember Victor Moses's cross that found Balogun though he didn't score.

At least, I remembered one or two Victor handled well.

Maybe you watched a different match.

Your analysis are always off the point and ridiculous

Goals For has always been ahead of H2H. The H2H was momentarily used ahead of Goals For by FIFA for the 2006 WC Qualifiers. However, CAF has refused to drop it angry. Since after it cost us that 2006 WC ticket I have hated that rule.

You are right.
The rules states that team rank in group is decided in the order of
1 Points
2 Goal difference (Net goals)
3 Goals scored.
If teams are still tied after all these then
1 Head to head
etc.

Please just simply call the bolded Goals Difference. That is the officially recognised name for it.

To your question: Spain and Portugal both finished on same Points and same Goals Difference of +1. The next thing to be considered is Goals For. Spain scored a total of 6goals while Portugal scored a total of 5goals. So Spain tops.

I know. That's what I was trying to point out. But on your penultimate sentence, CAF has dropped the H2H rule. It didn't apply in the last Afcon qualifications and of course the WCQ.

I think H2H was used for the last AFCON qualification. We didn't just find ourselves in that situation. And WCQ is organized by FIFA and not CAF. And so FIFA rules and not CAF rules are applied.

Ladies and gents, if Iran and Morocco can draw (and all most beat!!!) with competent, talented, sane and intact teams like Portugal and Spain, then Nigeria can surely defeat a broken Argentina.

Whenever Messi wants to play, he is unplayable. Argentina wants to play tomorrow, Argentina will die on the pitch tomorrow. If we can overcome the Argentina team of tomorrow I say it again emphatically no team will be able to stop us. Colombia and Uruguay are not even it. Will Colombia pass through Senegal, will Uruguay pass through Portugal, I doubt it

HARD TO PREDICT OPPONENTS LIKE NIGERIA - ARGENTINA HEAD COACH SAMPAOLI

By Sputnik News Jun 26 2018 5:21AM

ST. PETERSBURG, June 25 (Sputnik) - Argentina head coach Jorge Sampaoli said on Monday that it will be very hard to predict what Nigeria will do tactically in the teams' final World Cup Group D match in St. Petersburg on Tuesday.

Nigeria, who have three points after playing two group-stage matches, are second in Group D, while two-time champions Argentina are bottom of the table and need to win their final group-stage match to keep alive their hopes of reaching the knockout stage.

"Nigeria played in two different styles. In the first half [in the match against Iceland] their play was quite boring but after the break they changed their strategy, started dominating on the pitch and won the match. Such opponents are hard to predict. However, I'm sure that tomorrow will be one of the five matches that will lead us to victory," Sampaoli told journalists.

The 2018 FIFA World Cup kicked off on June 14 and will continue until July 15, with the matches being played in 11 cities across Russia.

Messi didn't come to this tournament unwilling to play sir. He's just been on a poor run of form. Plus the whole crisis palava and poor preparation.

That is why I believe the game tomorrow might take the form of two extremes; they either wallop us or we chew and spit them out
