OboOlora: Its good.. that phrase. EXCEPT... Religion exhorts us to pray that God guides our leaders in the right path. When we pray that events like this become our leaders woes, they become ours too.In times like this, we have to be circumspect in our supplications to the Almighty. My opinion. is that no leader , his fate notwithstanding, will go on his knees and ask God to give him leadership with the intention to bad. |

Cowbuhari:Perhaps you've not noticed the same people responsible for these killings are also killing Igbos in their land (I don't even want to state the fact that there's at least, an Igbo family in every corner of the country and most probably in in those villages that were attacked over the last weekend) . Retributive justice playing out on Igbos too? Keep it in mind that Yorubaland would be the last place this kind of massacre will take place, so if you're looking where else the killer herdsmen will turn after the middle belt, think south east. |

DeOTR: you know i never wanted to reply to your mention, but just to be clear with you..ask any fulani or hausa man "he dare not mess up in any state in the east"...unlike a state where there was a fight and a whole oba was arrested and taken to abuja alongside his subjects to be paraded like a common criminal..they already have kwara state , what assurance do i have that they ain't gonna turn oliver twist and ask for more so my dear worry about your dear west and leave easterners out of your worries, we are fool proof. "what ever the fulani's are planning on doing we already know right before they even make it public"..Mazi Nnamdi kalu warned errbdy in 2014, all what he said is being done exactly just the way he prophesied by the fulanis |

OurworkComNg1: That's not the sequence of events. June 16 hundreds of cows were butchered by Beroms. The herders were never found. The army went to get the cows back and the armed Beroms shot at them and refused to release the cattle. On Thursday June 21 along heipang road 4 herdsmen returning from from Bukuru were waylaid and murdered by berom. All the army found were dead cows and the burning husk of their vehicle. Knowing how the fulani are obsessed with mindless retaliation I'd say the Beroms asked for it, sad as it is. Now why is no one talking about the hapless victims of the road side massacre carried out by the Beroms? If the fulani reprisal is herein condemned, why is the berom massacre of Sunday given the blindeye treatment like it never happened? The outrage seems to suggest that only christian life is worth crying over. And thus the circle continues, because of the hypocrisy of the vocal lot, and the hubris of those who insist fulani life and their cows are fair game. |
