Fizzile, TEECAN, einsteino, ednut1,elfmannisback,mcstan18, thank you guys for your timely advise about starting me and my spouse's application afresh. We contacted the immigration lawyer and told her we would like to stop using her service and that she should refund the money paid for application...after a little stalling, she agreed to pay up as soon as she can cancel our registration from their database. She says it will take up to a month, so fingers crossed. Once we get our refund, we can start a fresh application

grin na this one we dey call format! Abeg which application she wan cancel when u no do IELTS and ECA? And whose database is she referring to? Abeg go and write your IELTS and get your ECA, while hoping she gets money to pay you

Working as a lawyer for 3 years and someone else working as a school teacher for 3 years is the same 3 years in CIC journey. No one is bigger than the other. Please take out time and read page 0 of this thread for better understanding. I don't know anything about CIC storing transmitted information or not so I cant tell if editing your work history will favour you or not. However, I would simply advise that you kukuma delete your profile and start afresh.

Thought to chip in here, they store transmitted info, i think i saw the Post ITA changes i made before submission in my GCMS but can't say they use it in assessment. Would check my GCMS again to confirm that i saw pre submission changes

Hmm. That would only make sense. Hence when someone decides to change info post ITA, an LOE becomes necessary. Thanks for chipping in

I got there 7am and the nurse and secretary did not come till 8am .doctor started examination by 9am and spent minimum 30mins per patient so even though I was the third person didn't finish till like 11am then I was sent to go pay before lab and X-ray.
Payment and sample collection took another one hour and I was lucky to get a ride to the X-ray centre which surprisingly was located outside that big hospital.
I got there and waited for well over one hour before I could do the chest X-ray so I finished everything late in the afternoon.
P. S- ensure you take a cab directly to the hospital and keep the drivers number because you also need to get to PIX for X-ray. I didn't enjoy trekking from the junction to the hospital

Guy/Babe go to page zero. You can't claim that you didnt find info about hospitals to go for your medicals there. Don't rubbish the effort it took to put that info there.

Congrats. You sat behind me on the submission day.
According to tracker, my passport has been dispatched from Accra to VFS since 20th June but no PUM yet from VFS, does it take this long to get PUM?

In fact, this seems to be one of the longest wait for passport return since May 22nd submission and to imagine that AOR to PPR took just 35 days makes it surprising.

Hello Ifeoma, please how did you apply for he Hst tax refund with Wes? I have used the format placed here on the forum and they keep telling me to go to the Canadian website to print a form. please can you post here the format in which wrote in requesting for the refund.
I applied a while ago. I guess the process has changed. When I applied, all I had to do was use the contact form on their website to ask for it.

i feel like you didnt read my question, i think you should go back and read it again pls.

1. i didnt ask where can i do the medical, i already know where to do the medicals, its on the ircc website.
2. i asked which was easier? meaning which had less hassle and less protocol
3. on page 0 information is only given about the medical centres in ikoyi and V.I, and none about the ones in ikeja

i hope u saw the part where i said i reside in mainland.

so before you start throwing knifes and kettles, please kindly read my question.

Nobody can answer that question for you. Go back and read. All info you need to make a decision is right there on page zero. Just this same June, someone posted detailed info about her enquiries with IOM ikeja. If you had even done the tiniest bit of search, it should have popped up. Bye Felicia.

you do know that this particular thread has 4 different titles right ? and each title is about 500 pages long, how am i to know which thread to search for that information in, when clearly nairaland isnt the easiest place to search for stuff.

if you dont want to answer or help please refrain from making it seem like am asking weird question, if u are a pro on nairaland or this forum then kudos to you, if u cant help just allow it.

For all those that make changes to their application post PPR, note that all changes are tracked, recorded and timestamped. So be careful on the kind of changes you make to avoid stories that touch.
