cyriel dessers, onyekuru, even chuba akpom would have buried those chances that the horrible ighalo was fluffing. if he's ever called up to any Nigerian team even the Olympics then the manager that did so must be sacked immediately. smh

Sports betting should be banned in Nigeria. Not just that. Nigerians should stop watching english league football. Croatia beat Argentina because they don't care about who Messi is. We lost to Argentina because our players, and most Nigerians, are afraid of Messi and also feel inferior.

Nigeria is a sinking ship!

True talk.Even the match commentator said it: too much respect shown to messi and co.can't tackle ,rubbish defence and more. Put simply we don't have the quality.

That idiot ighalo did not do anything, I wonder who is his godfather to have made d list...
I tire for the guy, but I won't blame anyone. An experience striker would have buried that ball. Even if he can't do it, he should have passed the ball to Ndidi.

Thank God it is over. As for me the super eagles performance so far in the world cup does not deserve to move further in to the 2nd round. They're so that bad that they could not even hold on to the 1-1 draw to qualify for the 2nd round. The team have no unique skills at all and even if they would have managed to draw with Argentina they would still not have gone any further than the 2nd round. I think it is better this way. We can all have our peace of mind now and shift our support to a more reliable African team "Senegal".

Coach should have brought in Iwobi and another pacy offensive player to to pressure on Argentina to reduce their attacking players in the 80th minute.

Can u guys see what Jose Morihno calls GAME MANAGEMENT.

During 1-1; why didn't our coach pack the box? Why didn't we do the Iwobi substitution then, why wait till when Argentina's second goal b4 doing it?

I think the best of the best of foreign coaches wouldn't come to Africa, its only local champions that come here as foreign coaches.

It's high time we begin to develop and train African coaches, send them for international coaching schools, internships with big clubs, pay them 2x salary of the foreign coaches.

If we are serious in winning the world cup.

Sometimes it is not outcome of crap like this match that annoys me but in the general scheme of things where most idiotic Africans seem to take other peoples' issue as their cases simply on the notion of "black and white" which remain misnomer.
