do4luv14: which gang up?? the only person who ganged up against us today was Ighalo! when you look at the goal Rojo- a defender,, scored- with his weaker foot,, then you remember the goal Rulic- a Croatian midfielder- scored against this same Argentina,, you cannot help but wonder if Ighalo wasn't sent to just ruin this world cup for us.. please hush the gang up talk,, we said it here that Ighalo is one big. bag of dorty 9 Likes |

I think Ighalo's miss hurts more than Yakubu's against South Korea. 6 Likes |

If musa was in those two positions ighalo found himself, it would have been another two goals today for him. It still boil down to one thing, self belief and confidence. This team lacks it and until it is fixed, this will always be the result 10 Likes |

Apparently we are all pained, but shouldn't be disappointed - at least it's very certain we ain't gonna win the World Cup! The Boys tried, they fought till the End and we humbly exit the Tournament. We didn't succumb to their Pressures cowardly, just unlucky to concede the late Goal. Blaming a particular Player ain't gonna change anything, we are out honorably and we should be proud of the Lads. I am particularly impressed with the 3 CBs and Idowu - they did very wonderful Jobs. Let's Channel our focus to AFCON Qualifiers, as well as hoping for better reinforcement of the Team. Some Players must make way surely; for the hungry, youthful, skillful ones to come in. Gonna be back when Tensions, Wailings, and Frustrations die down completely. Bravo........to Rohr, technical Crew and Players - you all did us proud!!! Shalom! Salaam! Note: don't bother, or waste your precious Data to quote me, cos I won't respond to any Quotes - at least for the meantime. 8 Likes |

Humility017: Reason beyond the miss. He should have made changes after that miss. It's simple logic. Besides, where did I make case for Ighalo? |

Ighalo has finally sealed it - He is useless. Iheanacho just showed his true colors today.. In a crucial match, the boy went for personal glory at the expense of a country.. that kind of nigga would stab his best friend in the back for 50k. Goodbye Nigeria. 7 Likes |

I salute the boys did all they could don't like singling out anybody for criticism but ighalo let us down badly when you can't take your chances you get punished. Rojo got away with one with that handball anyway no use crying over spilt milk truth is we snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. All said and done win or lose I will always support the super eagles 2 Likes |

joelayomide: Thank you. Iheanacho was not doing bad. The Argentines were too fast and they were doubling up on whoever had the ball. So Nacho was battling in tight spaces. However, I would have still taking Nacho out because Musa was in beast form. He ran a marathon in record speed. Nacho should have gone off while Moses pairs up with Musa upfront. Ebuehi comes in to take Moses position. Increasing our speed to cause the Argentines problems. Sad Rohr missed the change. 3 Likes

Well fought loss, i have been saying same about Ighalo, he can easily miss open net, i watched man Utd vs watford they were already winning and Ighalo missed an open net with no pressure on him. I knw someone was gonna pull a yakubu soon and I wasnt wrong who the person was. Iheanacho was poor today but Ighalo was never an option at all, definitly rohr doesnt trust his players. |

Now that the dream is over. In a game of this magnitude, you can't really blame any of the players for the result. They tried their best. They showed hunger today. These are my observations: 1) I may be wrong but it seem Iheanachio played more central today while Musa was more at the wing. 2) that second goal could have been avoided if we kept concentration and track that guy. Moses gve him too much space. 3) we failed to qualify not because of this game but because of our first game. 4) ighalo actually did well today but like I said the other time he's the kind of player you need when you are already with a high margin of safety not when you're hanging in the balance. Dude is poor as a striker. 5) i like the way they pressured the referee in second half. Even though he didn't give penalty for the handball, I was impressed. It seems someone talk sense to them after that iheanchio debacle. 6) our coach should have brought in at least 2 defensive minded players to support the left and right flank cos Argentina brought in 2 wingers and our 2 wing back were tired too. |

I think we have to come to the realization that we have an average squad. Even our best players will not make it into the first 11 of most other teams in the world cup. So, we didn't do badly based on what we had at our disposal. Moving forward, the entire back line should be scrapped. Our defenders are slow and lethargic and cannot stand up against world class strikers. Espcially Leon Balogun. I also don't agree with the bashing of Ighalo. He didn't do badly. 1 Like |

This match was not for Ighalo. Odion Ighalo is the worst striker I have seen play for Nigeria. When you dey tell people something, dem no go gree. Someone played all the friendlies and didn't score a single goal and did same in our first world cup match. Rohr could not see that Ighalo was our problem. 5 Likes |

A big Thank you to Musa. I have not seen that much work rate from a forward before. I am sure Guardiola must have been blown away with the amount of work Musa put in today. He is indeed a phenomenal player. I think the boys deserve credit for that first half because of the bravery and hardwork they put in. I was impressed seeing someone like Nacho track back from the attack to the defence. I think we were too conservative in the second half and we paid for it. I wonder the Crime Ebuehi committed. 8 Likes |
