Your team is as average as they come. Deal with it.
Your Ighalo is as useless as they come.
Deal with it.

Thank God he was exposed today. You lot have been trying to feed us BS about him not getting service. Today, the idiot proved that it is just generational curse that is following him.

The average team performed today, but they were let down by that FRAUD of a footballer.

Lol

Imagine a Rojo wey no get balls, come dey Throway us for world cup? very annoying. Ighalo wanted to do just what Messi did tonight, I.e get his first goal in Russia!! Imagine if he just passed.

I didn't want to blame him, but in the long run, I'll have to. If he buried those two deliveries, the Argies would be more pressured to committing errors and we would just have defended. But Why didn't Rohr also tell his boys to just hold on for 10mins ehn? 10mins only!!!

Ighalo was useless in front of goal. If he buried just one chance, we go qualify.

But after, he missed, Rohr should have brought on a fresh defensive midfield to add steam to the midfield because Etebo and Mikel were too tired but Rohr refused. Maybe he took only first eleven to the world Cup because bench e no wan use.

The worst part is that was the same Marcos Rojo that scored a game winning goal against us in the last world cup, and he was a defender.

This match was not for Ighalo. Odion Ighalo is the worst striker I have seen play for Nigeria. When you dey tell people something, dem no go gree. Someone played all the friendlies and didn't score a single goal and did same in our first world cup match.

Rohr could not see that Ighalo was our problem. angry

Ironical part is that the pitch opened up when Argentines went in search for the win but we did not have enough space upfront to make the most of it.

I hope we learn from this and work on possessing a team with pace and stamina. The game is changing and the Argentines showed what we should expect in the future.

Expectations cut short. Unsurprising how I'm going to feel so disinterested in the remaining fixtures. We go again in 4 years time.

Thank you Ighalo
Thank you Iheanacho.

The two of you can now marry each other and embark on a journey of no return. cry

I think we have to come to the realization that we have an average squad. Even our best players will not make it into the first 11 of most other teams in the world cup. So, we didn't do badly based on what we had at our disposal.

Moving forward, the entire back line should be scrapped. Our defenders are slow and lethargic and cannot stand up against world class strikers. Espcially Leon Balogun.

I also don't agree with the bashing of Ighalo. He didn't do badly.
Afam, I cannot remember a time you made an observation on this thread that did not seem like you were watching 2002 World Cup.

Please, just stick to politics sections, daalu

When we say Ighalo is useless and has bad luck, they accuse us of sentiments

Maybe if Rohr had used sentiments, we would have scored more than one.

He should have fielded Iwobi when he removed Iheanacho, but he put that stinking waste pipe to go and twerk for the Argentines with his ikebe.

I hope all of you supporting Ighalo enjoyed his twerking. You can watch highlights of his amazing hold-up play for the rest of the World Cup.
Come on that's unfair.

Nigerians will never go anywhere with our blame game mentality. I am pissed off but the fact is that the guys did their best. Ighalo missed chances but what striker doesn't? We should win as a team and lose like one too. If you feel that is yarning dust then too bad because that is the truth. We leave the fact that we were denied 2 penalties, one that could have sealed the match but destroy our own. I don't care what you people say if we can't get a striker that can hold up the ball I will continue screaming Ighalo's name. It was clear to see that the Einsteins were wrong. We ran away from lack of movement because Ighalo made us look silly with the dummy he did for Ndidi.
safarigirl:
I did not watch any game.

All I know is, the whole country is destroying Ighalo right now. Why don't you tell all of them to free the guy?

If the whole world is blaming someone, how can you come and start yarning dust about who did not do better?

I don talk am, if you people say this thing anywhere else but on this thread, dem fit lynch you.

Don't tell me nonsense

We are lacking in the Striking department. Ighalo isn't it and I'm starting to question Ihenacho, but he's young so I'll give him time. Musa is alright but he's not but he's not someone that would make you tremble.

I still do not understand Rohr with his idea of Mikel pressing to support Ighalo. I am yet to unravel that mystery. Mikel pressing means the midfield losing shape. We need our midfield and defense compact. If Ighalo can not meet up with the work rate, no need playing him.

Every position should be merited.

Ighalo was poor today no doubt, but why did he need to come on in the first place?? Was Iheanacho doing any better??
We just lacked that balance upfront.

because the whole world kn we were cheated. So Na why I nor even feel the pain. The moment they started talking about how Messi need to get to the next round bla bla bla, I kn they gonna cheat us. I’m done with any anything FIFA. Our players really tried and showed determination but they were fighting with the power that’s beyond them (FIFA). I’m damn done with their ass.
