This is what you get when people apply their emotions and sentiments to judge and write rather than reality and pragmatism. When you blame the VP for the killings of the people in the country, when you blame him for watching Christians been killed you should be reasonable enough to know that the VP can not do beyond his capacity. Do we expect the VP to carry guns or tell Christians to carry ammunition and start fighting back? or the VP should come out and fight publicly with his colleagues? What authority does the VP have to control the military? GEJ was a complete Christian and was president for over 6 years, what steps did he take to protect Christians and Nigerians at large from been bombed, slaughtered by Bokoharam ? What did GEJ do to make security better in the country?
People are attaching so much sentiments to the VP because he is a pastor, should he choose his pastoral position over his nation? When he was sworn in, he swore to serve Nigeria, not Christians, and with serious respect, regrets and sadness to the lives that have been lost thus far. But this Plateau crisis has been lingering for years, since around 1994. But sincerely, the government need to come out with ruthlessness, anger and be absolutely resolute in tackling this menace.
