Good afternoon everyone,
I have been a silent member of this group since I applied for my visa on 20th of April, I gladly say that this forum helped me into getting a successful application.

I just got passport request this morning after 9 weeks of waiting. Thanks everyone who contributed in one way or another in the group.

Please I kindly what to ask for some guidance on how to send my passport to Lagos. I work presently and I don’t think I will have the time to take the passport there myself , considering that I wouldn’t know when it will be stamped.

Please should I send my passport to them using DHL prepaid envelope? , please those who have gone through this process and were not living in either Abuja or Lagos should kindly assist me.

Thank you

Congratulations. Kindly put a call through to VFS or send a mail to get first hand information.

Good evening guys.

To those that got approval a big congratulation.

Please, i want your opinion. i have been denied four times counting from 2014. It can be so discouraging but i honestly do not want to give up.

Now, i want to try again but need your advice, who knows it might go along way.

I studied Computer Engineering and work as an HSE Supervisor. i want to apply for MSc. in Environmental, Health and Safety.

My question is this, will the VO regard my application since my Degree does not tally with my work experience.

Hello My People,I received my approved TRV/stamped passport today at VFS office,Lekki,Lagos.

I've been a quiet follower of this thread.I stumbled on it after submitting my study permit application.I must confess some assertions made on this forum made me want to lose confidence in my application and made me leave my fate in the hands of Jehovah as my only Advocate. For instance,a member of this forum stated education loan cannot fly and while another member affirmed that Fixed Deposit Certificates as proof of funds is a no-no.

My Timeline
Paper application at VFS Lekki Lagos.... 18th April,2018
Linked my application online....5th May,2018
Medical Call....8th May,2018
Medical Done.... 9th May 2018

Contacted by my school (UBC) to give consent to confirm my acceptance and release my personal details(student number, date of birth, program, program start and end dates, etc) to CIC....8th June 2018....I consented immediately.
My online account started reading Account/Profile Updated..... 21st June 2018
Within minutes,my online account started reading 'New Message' (no longer Account/Profile Updated).... 21st June,2018
Yet and even uptil now my online account was and is still reading 'Your application is in progress','we are reviewing whether you meet eligibility requirements....We are processing your background check' (even after collecting my stamped passport...this shows the website is having issues).Even the 'new message' does not open for me to see the details.
Contacted by VFS to pick up my processed passport at Lekki.....25th June,2018
Visited VFS to pick up my approved TRV/Stamped passport.... 26th June,2018.

To all TRV hopefulls,it will end in praise.Keep on keeping on!!!Now i can sleep very well and plan ahead...What a big relief!!!
