There is one SIMPLE DIFFERENCE in what you wrote and what is happening in Nigeria by SARS:

In all those countries you have travelled to, Doors are broken down WITH A JUDGE ISSUED WARRANT.

This ensures that the Police officers doing the job, dont abuse their powers.


What we have in Nigeria is the Police doing the work of the Accuser, Judge and Executioner.

if they have a Warrant, they still must follow PROCEDURE, as l described it above.

But l have not seen one single case in which SARS were said to show a warrant, before searching a suspect.

How do you get a warrant for searching people you pick-up randomly on the street?
(In this case, CCTV showed them coming in and we did not see them waving any warrant (which is the first thing you do, when you want to search an abode).
