I smile when people criticize Okocha.
In the '90s,Okocha was the only reason why some Nigerians watch football. If nothing,at least you are sure of his dribbles as entertainment even if Nigeria looses.
KANU did fine but those goals couldn't have happened without Okocha's telepathic passes. Jay Jay was a maestro in the midfield, defenders tactfully run away from him. Goal scoring makes footballers achieve popularity easily but very few understood the brand of midfield play like the doubly named Jay Jay.
Okocha played actively in an era where a single tackle could damage a player's career, yet he dribbled seamlessly and his passes where reference poi till date for dudes that know what football truly is.
To you he is not a legend? Go say that in fernabache and be applauded. Like realities of life, some good players don't always get to play in big football clubs, but Jay Jay was a force to reckon with in attacking midfield, kindly ask Ronaldinho of Brazil.
Take it or not, since his first feature against Algeria in 1991, till present date,Nigeria never had a creative, dazzling No 10 like Augustine. He made a whole stadium shouted "it's a goal" more than three times before he eventually scored. Let's respect our heroes,Jay Jay was paid his dues.

They lost the match, because Nigeria is not for human interest but for Fulani terrorists.

They wanted to use Biafrans to shine. But God passed them.

Biafra must participate in the future World Cup competitions.

I wonder why nobody is blaming a coach who kept Alex Iwobi on the bench and sent a " big bum bum" Ighalo to start chasing ball

Argentina coach made three changes looking to score but our coach made only one change when we had players that could have been brought in to defend Our lead

The first penalty was well deserved. It was exactly the same way that Ekong was faulted in our first match with croatia. Holding a player in the 18 box and preventing him from getting at d ball is a straight penalty. Lets not be biased here.

A mindset of being inferior to white-skinned people is why we lost.

From the on-set, Nigerian players doubted they could beat Messi. That is why they refused to tackle Argentina and they were even afraid to try to score, except from free kicks.

Despite the fact that Argentina never won any match prior to playing with Nigerian, our players lacked self confidence but had a high dose of an inferior mindset.

As Nigerians, and indeed black Africans, we should have confidence in ourselves. All white-skinned people are not that good in everything, like we wont to think.

South Americans like Argentinans are not necessarily better than us because their skin is white. These countries are just as undeveloped as our country, but when we see them we treat them as though they are superior.

We should remove the "white coach" and replace him with a Nigerian coach. That way, Nigerians can also learn how to be successful coaches, and this can only happen if our citizens are given opportunities to coach - learning from doing.

I would add that English league football should be banned in Nigeria, so that we can focus in developing our own league, capabilities, and self-confidence.

I don't understand you.
Why would EPL be banned in Nigeria ?

are they using our stadiums ?
do we have public holidays when there's an EPL match ?
you want to force me to watch shit ?

That we watch foreign league is not the cause of our shithole football league. if NFF is serious that can develop our league.

dont waste your breath on dat fellowcheesy. He might belong to the indomie generation. U know those ones born in 2008 and 2010 might not have an idea on who okocha is. U know we dont keep history of things in nigeria for d younger ones to know. In argentina if u ask a 12 yr old kid if he has heard of maradona..the kid will give u a breakdown of maradona's biography. But in nigeria if u ask a 14 yr old if he has heard about jay jay okacha or rashidi yekini...d 14 yr old kid will be looking at u.its as bad as datcheesy.

Yes J.J is a great dribbler, no doubt about that. But my point is he should at least give the boys some encouragement. he has always been detecting the fault of each game and picking out some players for critisicm.
When he was there, how many Passes did he set up to give Nigeria the world cup trophy?
Bro football has gone beyond jz the dribbling. The result is wot matters.

i dont think it has anything to do with inferiorty complex. Lets face it bros...most of the players in the super eagle squard are below average abeg. If its inferiory complex then why d inferiority complex no affect the super eagles squard of USA 94. Most of them in this current squard are not dat good and also they dont have the desire to play their heart out. Look at ighalo...for strike he has no pace...so slow and lazy. If u watch senegal matches in this current world cup tournament u will hail.those guys they play ball like mad.

Doing so will force us to develop our own soccer industry, and our self-confidence.

Just like the rest of Nigerians who treat white people like God, our players did not believe in themselves. It was even reported that our goalkeeper went and begged Messi for his sweaty shirt after the match. Now, does that not reek of a very inferior-minded person? What do you think Maradona's F-U fingers meant?

Let us stop developing the english football industry. When you play sports betting, you remain poor while enriching team owners abroad. It is time we focus on developing our country instead of other peoples' country, because of ignorance and an inferior mindset.
