We are in fact the luckiest. If they had sit on that list, a lot of people on merit list would have been dropped and replaced with their candidates.

faith faith faith everywhere. the medicine for uncertainty is verifiable information, not faith. faith is just like vitamin c. lick lick lick, cos it tastes sweeter than truth which is bitter. i was listening to the radio show ystd when the guy called in concerning the recruitment. the way they replied the question, that was simple, that was bitter and that was truth. but when we have a dozen ppl saying 'my source knows better than yours', someone somewhere is not telling the truth.

Nice one. I strongly agree with the fact provided. I just want to correct one thing you stated based on your thoughts.

I don’t want to state precisely the exact date and time the APLs and postings were completed so I don’t get a few persons implicated but know that everything has been concluded.

They want to ensure that APLs are dispatched to the zonal/field offices without issues and it doesn’t matter to them if it takes a week or two. When that has been done, the Operation Controllers will be sent a notification, informing them about the staff they are expecting and then successful ones will be contacted. So it’s left for some persons on this thread to gather information regarding the location of the APLs through their contacts.

Posting was sorted before typing of APLs. In the beginning, Mr Tata asked the Operation Controllers of zonal/field offices through their heads of cooperate services to provide the total number of staff needed in various divisions( upstream, downstream etc.) which gave rise to 400. During the final selection process, the best hands were selected and posted to where they were needed based on their field of study and other considerations. I mentioned a few things in my previous posts that took place within that period of time. Please posting has nothing to do with the delay and trust me no stakeholder candidate will reject the offer even if he/she is posted to the North East unless they get an offer elsewhere. A supplementary list will be drafted and approved after some have rejected the offer or for other reasons

Sir on this I totally disagree. I have it on good authority it was issued. The COC was issued through the Chairman FCC HIMSELF! It never passed through the petroleum commitee. So even the chairman for petroleum committee will not be aware. Not to speak of the other commissioners on the committee. No one was aware when it came and left . As their OGA handled the whole thing without them. That’s a FACT.

So you saying they haven’t sat to assess the list is true , because the committee wasn’t aware it came and left them. Their OGA has already signed off on it . So no need for the commitee to work on it . It was ISSUED

The certificate requires the signatory of the chairman alone (correct me if I am wrong). In the last recruitment, DPR refused to publish the names of successful candidates as requested by FCC. FCC even threatened to take DPR to court to no avail.
A call from the minister of petroleum (Mohammadu Buhari) is enough for him to issue the certificate even if his candidate is not on the list. This is just my opinion.

To those that are patiently waiting for the possible dates to come and go, please don’t waste your precious time hoping for that to happen rather channel your energy towards praying to the Almighty to be among the successful ones. Don’t be too concerned about the resumption date when you not sure of making the final list. I would like to thank @chideozi for your post that addressed this issue.

I repeat again, the information I provide is subject to debate and prove your point by providing the house with updates. Don’t feel bitter about what people post because you don’t know the length some persons have gone and effort put in to gather such info rather make significant contributions that will benefit all. In one way, even those debunking have gotten one or two information(s) to make them still hope in this recruitment.

Like you said, the variability of the exact date though shouldn't be our concern, but rather to pray to be among the favoured one after waiting for this long time.

With the claim that merit is really considered and only few among the thousands will be considered, then it is really a tight competition, this which no one can determine his/her fate from perceived performance in both interview and aptitude test.

Only favour and grace can speak for one... I pray for myself to be among the successful...

Typical of DPR recruitment. the date is always very close and then shifted and postponed to after any national event and years pass before they come calling.

one started in 2006 - 2008. another was 2010 to 2013. this thing is just normal. every one should hope in God as He alone will do the best.

Finally, I got a contact at snapnet. He assured me that everything is set. He specifically said that they are currently stretching their fingers that would ultimately be used to update our portals.

He promised to get in touch ones they are done with stretching the fingers.
