My dear sister don"t mind me. Honeyflour is a good buy, i still fight itching fingers and restlessness whenever am in front of Morgan trading platform. The ease of clicking away, unlike before i had to pursue my analogue Broker with phone calls to execute trades atleast i had time to change my mind on decisions.
Any decision you take is another step in learning, we learn everyday and garnered experience over the years. For me, there should be no regret, we have all gone through that step before. What if HF went the other way, by now you would have lauded your initiative at selling right on time.
Good Luck.

What capital did she preserve ?
She bought at 2.30, sold at 2.31 tell me how she take preserve capital ?
2.39 was her exit price including charges..
All these small losses here and there they add up oo.. before you know your money don finish.
Is not as if she bought the worst stock... na people wey buy Japaul for they run up-and-down not she

Thought she was seeing H&S in her chart and decided to jump out to avoid taking huge loss like someone who bought at 2.45 and jumped out when it got to 1.99 due to panic.

Those Brokers that can transfer stocks to themselves especially when they know the stock got some nice sentiment. their way too no pure dear.. just try to give your stock at least one month. I’ve got itching fingers too but gradually I learned to hold for 3 now I’m going to test myself with 1 year and I will ride through election period.

Good day all,
I just wrote an article with the title:
STRATEGY: A POWERFUL TOOL TO SUCCESSFUL INVESTING.
It's published on booksie, medium and the personal finance section of opinion Nigeria.

U may wish to read through it by using the link below;

https://www.booksie.com/554210-strategy-a-powerful-tool-to-successful-investing

Let me give u a quick hint;
One effective way to work on ur emotion is to have some measure of knowledge on why u are buying a stock.
...u need to be concise on this.
If ur BUYING to INVEST, TRADE and/or SPECULATE, have a WHY and a HOW to go about it.
That way, u wont have to regret anything when u BUY/SELL. ...irrespective of whether the said stock price have gone up or down.
U know ur sticking to ur laid out plan. ...and u can only likely thrive better with time.

Between, try and read the article above.

Goodluck to u my dear !!

Hmmmmn, provided you have tons of money to average down. Wish i had listened to Oracle when he left the market in Jan. My portfolio is down by 12.45% and the loss amount is in millions, averaging down is not an easy thing because the market can stay irrational longer than you can remain solvent...Warren Buffet. Below chart shows how much someone needs to break even. I had this chart as my computer screensaver to remind me how to manage risk and position size daily whenever i open my computer.

Kpele Sir. You will recover all those losses, we only don't know WHEN!.

I learnt 2 things in this market. I never stay back to enjoy all the goodies a stock has to offer, even when the bulls are around, I jaa at the slightest provocation (this also applies even when in a neutral or loss position). I have also advised myself that I shouldn't be a partaker of all the bull periods, trying to enjoy all of them is a recipe for failure. Am a trader though, this wouldn't apply to investors.

My total portfolio might not have tippled from last year till date but am highly contented with what I have gained so far. Very grateful.

When "2008" happens to you in life, not gaining a single kobo and at the same time getting to preserve your capital becomes KEY.

Meanwhile, on top all my talk talk about Zenith, I see it as a very good stock which I will love to have in my portfolio, I even have plans of deploying all my funds for Zenith but Priority for me now is ENTRY PRICE. But if it finally zooms off without me, I won't have any iota of regret for am 101% sure that another stock will show up.

Absolutely spot on. If you miss an opportunity, another one will surely show up. Market goes no where. Say no to FOMO.

Yesterday i bought Honeyflow at N2:30 and it ended closing at N2:20 for the day. This morning i panicked and sold off at N2:31, within like 5 seconds somebody came and cleared orders to N2:39. It is now on full bid at N2:41.

Such is this market, you take your eyes off your screen for a few seconds or take decision within a split seconds, the price change.

You can never be an accurate time keeper when you wife is in the labour room... grin
After you have done your bedroom task, taken her for delivery, hang at the parking lot and wait for the nurses to call your attention, else you will end up an HBP patient before she delivers.
Treat Mr Market like a pregnant woman in labour, except you double as her doctor.. grin

20% from N1.99 that it traded few days ago. Bobo's are waiting to see FY result. I fear for that guy that offloaded from N2.46 to N2.00, if na insider, I expect HoneyWell to trade below N2.00 by next week.
