The German tactician said this after the Super Eagles ouster from the ongoing 2018 Fifa World Cup after a 1-2 defeat to Argentina.

“It’s my desire to stay on with this fantastic team. They are a young team both in the defence and the attack. It’s a team with a good cocktail of passion, discipline and enthusiasm”, he said.

Rohr, 64, noted that staying to nurture the team would see them take the World by storm starting with the African Cup of Nations next year.

He joked that he would also like his captain, Mikel Obi, to stay on so that the bond they built would continue.

all the local coach they employed what did they achieve apart from stephen keshi who won the nations cup who performed well is it Samson Siasia or Sunday Olise my friend park well

I don't see anything difference in what he did and the success recorded by late Amodu shuaibu,Christain Chukwu. It is better we show him the way and engage best of our local coach that understand our game.The game formation he adopted with Croatia was bad only to be corrected by the unwanted local coach before he was able to get 3 point from the group.

I agreed with the fact that some of our players lack the experience needed to defeat big teams but when you compare the qualities of players in our national team with the result at the world cup you will realised the team did not really fail us rather our expectation did! Have you not wonder why African teams performed poorly at the world stage? Well check the qualities of players. North Africa countries invest heavily on football but are no where to be found at the world stage. I think our inconsistency is base on our inability to have a stable team management (we are quick to Axe the whole team at any little failure) and the politicising of our football (Joel obi, Echiejile and Onazi have no busy with our national team).
