You are right. It was just grace of God. I maintain that there is no sure way with the US embassy. Someone could have all the boxes ticked and it will end in denial. It just God's favour.

Sorry, I actually forgot to ask, was it two different VOs that interviewed you both? Lemme read the transcript again sha to see if this question is unnecessary.

@the oga that just posted before me now; clearly you are looking for whose life to destroy now with your trial and error packaging. You have come to the wrong place! On this street? We will tear your "agency" file/certificate, your "cable" shall be burnt here. We wont report your post sef.... Since you trust your link why not pay the visa fee for the client with your money first now and charge him/her double when the SURE visa is out na? Put your money where your mouth is....

You have come here and you wont go home "safely"! This is NAIRALAND, and this specifically is the US Visit Visa Thread, we don't take prisoners here! We will draw you on the floor, on the tarred road and peel all your body.

INTERESTED kee you dia!

So you know this route and you were asking on a thread you opened some weeks back between Dubai and Isreal which is better to hustle.

https://www.nairaland.com/4504643/kazakhstan-isreal-dubai-which-better

Let me call JW to do the needful even though he is a bias mod...

No need calling JW, holla this guy out of here, harass the living daylight out of his "gambling" life/businesses. These are the ones making Nigerians cry daily. He can't do jack about that which he just posted above. Hitherto qualified people for visas fall into their hands and have their chances ruined for a long while if not forever. If his trial clicks he collects humongous amounts and poses to be connected. Clients actually land themselves visas, but they are made to believe they the agents did. Story!!! I bet they know no one and have no inside connection anywhere....

NB// Kindly modify your quote of his post and remove all the rubbish he wrote up there from it

That crook indirectly promoted that scam here and more than 8000 Nigerians were scammed, after that he went and modify the thread forgetting that I quoted the original post.

I proceeded with prayers to God almighty asking for Grace of God because this VO na one chance. I remembered the guy thatshared his transcript here after he was denied. He said he went to one buka to eat good food and step it down with a cold malt (he broke his fast or so). I was already thinking of where I can do same because with this kind of VO, only GOD can help your case.
Here is the transcript.
Me: Good morning Sir.
VO: Please, can I have your passport?
Me: Yes, you can but before you do, I need to update you on some information on my DS-160 form(since the guy didn’t smile, I wiped off my smile too)
VO: Okay, I am listening but pass me your passport.
Me: (Handing over the passport) The initial plan was for me to travel with my family for holidays in August so we did a drop box but whilst the passport was at the embassy, my organisation informed me that I have to attend an urgent meeting in Texas. I immediately informed the embassy but got no replies to several mails I sent (VO nodded as though in agreement as he gazed at the screen). I even tried getting an expedited date to no avail. Based on this and future planned office itinerary , I will no longer be travelling with my family for the holidays as earlier planned.
VO: (Keeping a straight face) Okay. What was your reason for traveling to the states the last time.
Me: To witness the birth of my child and accompany my family back to Nigeria just the way I escorted them when they left Nigeria.
VO: And your wife stayed for 4 months?
Me: Noooooo , she stayed 3 months (counting on my fingers).
VO: How much did you spend?
Me: $.......... (I tried bringing out the proof of payments, zero balance, etc)
VO: (Seeing my big folder) No need to show me.
Me: Okay (But I still brought it out and mentioned the cents to the earlier amount I quoted)
VO: What is the DOB of your child?
Me: DD MM YYYY
VO: What do you do?
Me: I am a …….professional with ABC company (well known organisation).
VO: How much do you earn?
Me: I earn NXXXXXX but before tax
VO: Before tax ? (looking slightly surprised but regained his straight face)
Me: Yes but after tax it comes to (VO cuts in)
VO: No need. (still not smiling. I think he doesn’t have the muscle for smiling)
VO: How long do you intend to stay during the Visit to the states?
Me: Meeting is for DD & DD of June but my office policy requires a day’s rest before the meeting and before return travel for proper rest so I will stay a maximum of 6days. Arrive on Monday and return on Saturday.
VO: Typed for about a minute (I expected to hear : I am sorry, bla bla)
VO: (Not smiling) Your visa has been approved, this paper explains……
Me: (Straight face) Thank you. (but inside me, I was dancing a mixture of awilo, makossa, shoki and dabbing. Infact I was doing back flips). As Ieft I could see the expression of shock on the face of the guards and those on the queue.(Sorry to say but that VO na complete error)
So I went to meet wifey who was on the queue outside and gave her a quick coaching on how to answer the VO. I told her to ensure she passes the message of me and her not travelling together as it is key to the success if the interview.
I really thank God because if not for God, with that kind of VO, forget it.

My precedents:
1. My travel history is very solid, my former job had to do with international travel so I have been to atleast 5 countries on every continent except Australia. A globe trotter with an average of over 12 international travels annually.
2. My last US visa was for child birth and was declared at that interview. Although I had previous US visas meant for professionals.
3. I have had no international travel after my trip to USA.
4. I am well articulated and was very composed (This one means nothing to the VO although I suspect a stammerer may be misconstrued to be lieing or thinking of lieing).

I wrote my precedents so you may understand the background behind the approval.

Thanks to all the information on this thread and those on sister threads. I appreciate all contributors and information. God bless you all.
bro congrats but it's not that your wife is going to give birth made the Vo to approve your visa , before you go interview they already weighed you , just like someone defending a project , Vo has 30% to approve your visa other things has been done at the background that's how American set their database. If you're not doing well in Nigeria your chances of getting a USA visa is very slim .

My wife’s transcript is thus:
DW: Good morning
VO: Good morning. Please pass your passport?
DW: okay. (Passing the passport). I have to inform you about changes in my DS-160 application form.
VO: Go ahead.
DW: My husband might not be coming with us for the vacation as he is likely to travel to other places on business during that period.
VO: Okay. What does he do?
DW: He works with ABC .
VO: What does he do?
DW: (knowing she didn’t answer well). He does M,N,O,P for ABC
VO: How much does he earn.
DW:He earns NXXXXXXX
VO: (Still typing) How many kids do you have?
DW: Two and one was born in the states.(i told her to lead the VO to the childbirth since it was apparent that is what they are looking for)
VO: Okay, how much did you spend for the child birth?
DW: Excluding living expenses, we spent $ xxxxx. That includes documentation for the child.(Opened her big folder to bring out budget sheet . zero balance, itemised bills, etc )
VO: No need. (Continues typing)
VO: How long do you intend staying?
DW: Two weeks maximum
VO: Does your husband have a visa?
DW: Yes, he has just been issued a visa few minutes ago as he has a meeting in the states next week.
VO: (Types for a while and later smiled) Oh, I can see that.
VO: Your visa has been approved, this paper explains……
DW: Thank you so much!

It was all the Grace of God especially hearing about the trouble with itemised billing and proving that bills were not transferred to insurance or taxpayers. Neverthelesss, we went very prepared in terms of documentation.
how much does he earn ?? if you're not rich but just be average citizen before thinking of USA visa .people feel all the document will help them get a visa

Yesterday in Abuja, my brother had his F1 student visa interviewed, he was denied but not given any letter to explain why he was denied. When he requested, he was just asked to go, that he was denied.

Please can anyone tell me what is going on?

Yes you can request for interview in your native language. They have interpreters that work with them at the embassy.

.....but I'm curious, is the conference in your native language as well? Or it's just a very technical one that doesn't require English to be understood....

Wrong thread.

Hi twoods.
I've been itching to find out the truth in the allegations leveled against you/your brother, but so far it's either you missed out on the mentions or you've deliberately made no attempt to refute them. Does silence in this case mean consent?
Or did I miss the reply?

Yes. Correct. They are separate people. That is sound reasoning ...
However by that same principle, Twoods shouldn't judge other folks without a logical basis and simply on the assumption that all Nigerians are fraudulent. Cos if that's the case, then it's fair game to ask about his family and their immigration Style....

I have not judged anyone outside of what they have to say here. Simple. It really isn't my problem if you don't like it.
