Hmm. Tough one.
For me, it depends on the kind of woman you are dating. Is she loose. Is she a faithful kind of woman.
Your answers should help you decide whether to marry now or wait and see.

Well, what prompted me into asking questions after this long while, having considered her faithful and accepted the pregnancy without ever questioning if it was mine, is because, I borrowed her phone recently and stumbled upon some questionable messages, dated early February. My suspicion was more aroused by one message in which she was discussing her period with another man. She has somehow rationalized them. Still, I have doubts, and she doesn’t know I do.

@op,
The questionable message is the more reason not to rush into marriage. Marrying after confirmation still provides the needed ideal home for your baby if it turns out to be yours.

Bruv, pls wait till the baby is born before you put a ring on that finger. Never be cajoled into marrying someone you ain't sure of.
She might have concluded you are comfortable and wants a piece of that life and would go any extent to hook you up with pregnancy.

Hmmmm...your gf have my exact circle. If she finished on the 10th, then she started on the 6th. She was safe on the 11th. She's so trying to get you to take responsibility. However, anything can happen. You might just have a lil one on the way. Quantifying the likelihood on a scale of 1 to 10, you are on 2 embarassed

So discussing period with another man must have summed up to being intimate?

Things these men can do

Gistboxblog:
On a scale of one to ten (ten being most likely), what are the chances of me being the father?

To start with, I am unfamiliar with the female biology.

She has a 28-day cycle. Her last period ended on 14th January — to the best of my knowledge.
We had sex on the 15th January (my first time, but the umpteenth time for her — not complaining). Then, we had intercourse again on the 28th and 29th of January.

From the 5-9th February, she continuously hinted that she might be pregnant having noticed changes in her body. Afterward, she confirmed she is pregnant on 11th February.

Today, according to scans, she is roughly 23 weeks pregnant, and I have been supporting her. However, she doesn’t want to give birth outside of wedlock, so we intend to go to a marriage registry soon.

Now, the only reason I’d walk her down the aisle is the baby (not that I don't want to marry her or that I do not love her, not just ready for marriage yet). I want her (the unborn child) to be born in a functioning family, not a baby-mama context. Nonetheless, I am worried the baby might not be mine. Obviously, we can conduct a DNA test once the child is born, but it would be too late if the child turned out to be someone else’s. Worst, I’d be a divorcé at a tender age. I am not up to 30, but I am very comfortable.

I need fertility experts, women, doctors to please tell me what they think.

Based on the timeline of her cycle, period, pregnancy signs, our sexual relations and such, what are the chances that I am the father?

MODIFIED:
Don't get me wrong, I am not looking for irrefutably decisive conclusions, just prospects, likelihood.

Me I will quote it

You are obviously biased.
So, according to you, a woman discussing her menses (whether it flowed or not) with another man, especially when their message’s history clearly depicted that there had been an affair between them, shouldn’t justify their partner’s suspicions? Or you missed the part where I said the messages were “questionable”? You never bothered to ask what “questionable” really meant. Also, you needn’t generalize, could have waited (or asked) for specifics or draw conclusions based solely on the information at your disposal.
I stated earlier that it was rationalized. The woman’s basis was that the affair with the man had ended prior to meeting me, which is now false.

I just dodged a fast one.
I have approached her with the facts you guys provided me with. And as it turns out, she saw her “ex,” so to say, who is an undergraduate (she even sent him money recently, my money), in January too, before and after she visited me. Right now, she claims she is unsure about who the father of the unborn child is, but I am confident I am not the father. I have canceled the marriage and would inform my family.
I guess it’s all just a lesson.

Why didn't you question her on seeing the messages?
You had to bring it to where no one really cares if you both end up good or worse?
What happened to communication?

You couldn't entail your fears to your partner but could give out every info to those that don't give a hoot about any of you

Good luck with your mind getting twisted oo

It was never your baby in the first place. Just a case of Alpha fvcks, Beta Bucks. She was looking for a comfortable life for herself and her child and you were the perfect "provider" candidate. Every female moniker that commented on this thread prior knew this fact.

Also, because she took your virginity you were in a haste to marry her?

There were too many red flags to ignore. First of which you guys live in different cities. Secondly she was rushing you to the registry.

As a side note my man, never get married in the registry. You have a whole lot to lose.

And for crying out loud, Can you just stop having unprotected sex? What is wrong with you guys? Fathering someone else's child is the least you should worry about. I've seen the look of regret on the faces of several young and comfortable guys like you when a positive HIV result was handed to them.

Mr. lover man, I hope she's now an ex? The fact that she's cheating on you, lied about ending things, gave your money to her true love (father of the child) is unforgivable. Not to mention attempting to pass another man's child to you and force you to marry her.

Trust the women to defend one of their own. The things women of these days do and try to hook it up to a dude really scares the poo outta me. What sane woman will discuss period and ovulation with another man who ain't hitting that asss. Bruv, don't be misled and intimidated into getting married like say na one big trophy.

Marriage is not a one day thing, it a a lifetime and if you make the mistake initially, it's a lifetime of regrets. NEVER MARRY OUTTA PITY.

Calm down and don't conclude yet. My 2 pregnancies, hubby didn't release inside me, we practiced withdrawal method and I still got pregnant. So don't conclude you ain't the father yet. How did you even come to the conclusion sef, best bet is to undergo DNA when d child comes, even though they say DNA ain't cheap

Yeah. Even if I am sure (or she changes tune, claiming it’s no longer mine), I would conduct a DNA test once the child is born, especially when there is a chance it could be mine. Because if it turns out to be mine, it’s my blood, and I need to raise her right.
The only thing that would not be going on now is the marriage. I can’t marry her.

How soon is soon? My man stop reasoning with your manhood and send this lady back to her parents immediately. You're obviously still pvssy whipped and haven't learnt any lesson at all after all. Do you really think she loves you or appreciates the kindness being shown to her?

Get this message, no matter what you do for her, now and even when the baby is born, you'll never be loved like the man whose baby she's carrying.

And if you think the guy isn't in the know about her giving you his child (pending when he is able to face you and shock you with the truth in future) your joking. He's still a student after all and can't even look after himself but depends on your money from her.

What kinda cuckold are you? Taking care of another man's woman, his unborn child and the man himself (by proxy) just because the lady still gives you pvssy and you want to appear like a nice man?

Please do not endanger your wellbeing/life by still keeping this lady nearby. She can go diabolical on your case sef.

Not every woman.. no, scratch that.
Most women are not so flippant to discuss things like cycle, period, and ovulation, with just any guy.

I know you're probably going to ask me if I'm a woman to make such claims.. cheesy
Well you have to be honest with yourself here. Perhaps you can say things like that to your male friends, but that would make you the exception, definitely not the usual.

A good number of my friends happen to be of the opposite sex and I can tell you for a fact that for every one of them I've had that kind of gist with, we were either already intimate or about to get intimate.
What kind of fuckery will make me go about discussing ovulation or menstrual cycles with a woman who is just a 'FRIEND'? Am I one of her girlfriends or what exactly cheesycheesy

This guy has every reason to be suspicious, as a matter of fact he should be worried.
