Oga I have nothing against you, maligning a VO should be a no no, we shouldn't descend to that level.

They are are to do their jobs and treat each case according to its merit. You should also know that they are being supervised. This is not ruling out their being subjective.

I ran a quick check on you profile. You have considered or made enquiries about studying in Canada, Germany, Finland and the US and talked about travelling to Australia. You have also been denied a Canadian and US visa before.

In light of the above, you can see that you have stained or decreased your chances of securing a Visa.

Anyone can be granted a visa irrespective of the number of times he/she has applied or has been denied. Once the visa officer finds an applicant worthy to be given a visa, the visa will be approved.

Good afternoon gurus in the house.
I wrote my GRE test today and I got an abysmal score and its so painful because it means I wasted 3month on preparing for this test
Well, I realised I was just blindfolded by my test score on Magoosh and powerprep which made me reduce my reading habit in the last two weeks of preparation.
My unofficial score is 303 (Q157 and V146) but I sent the score to some schools and I want you to help scrutinize my profile.
GRE-303
HND-WES OFFICIAL EVALUATION (3.59)
Course of Study-Electrical Engineering
RECOMMENDATIONS- 2 Doctors and 1 Mr.
I don't have any publication and infact my project was a research which is not related to what I want to study (investigation on the interpretation of energy saving lamps in residential houses in Lagos State) so I don't know if I can actually mention this to any professor.
I sent my scores to these four schools
Florida state University- hoping to apply for direct PHD and their GRE requirement is 145 in verbal and 151 in Quant
North Dakota state University- PHD in Electrical engineering. A professor from there have a PhD position with full funding and I will be mailing him today or tomorrow
Rochester Institute of technology-Masters Application
Georgia Southern university- Masters in Applied Engineering

Please give me an advice. I am thinking of taking that test again in 21days. The only practice I need to do more is RC. That thing get as e be ooooo

Not advisable....it was more stressful converting B1 to F1 within the US. Instead when she gets admission then , outside of the US (ie Nigeria) she should book and attend am F1 visa interview

Good evening all. Its with heavy heart that I type this. I really thought I would make it for fall 2018, but it's so unfortunate for me.
All my applications for Ms in chemistry for Fall was denied, no single school accepted me. But I believe that nothing good comes easy.
Please I need all gurus advice on these questions:
1. Which term should I apply for Spring or fall 2019?
2. Suggestion of schools that fund for Ms in Chemistry.
3. Study materials for GRE & TOEFL.
4. Can I switch from chemistry to health science?

Please assist a heavy heart.
Thank you in anticipation.

Pls help. My Visa has been denied twice now. The second transcript is found below.

Second
I got another appointment 4days(was happy I got a close date) after the first denial.

Vo: Good afternoon
Me: Good afternoon (I was ready to make it no matter what. I began to have heavy breath)
Vo: Why do you want to attend WIU
Me: I want to attend WIU for the following reasons:

Vosad cuts in) what?
Me: I said I want to attend WIU for the following reasons:
1. WIU has this striking balance between theorical knowledge and very strong practical skills
Secondly, Amongst all the schools were I got admission, WIU is the only school that offer ZOOLOGY as a major.
Thirdly, the school is more international student friendly that is evident in their students services and residence...( I didn't know why I was rushing to say all this things)
Vo: I can see you were denied visa on the 26.So want has changed?
Me: The former visa officer felt i didn't convince her on why I want to study at WIU. So now I have more convention and more words.

Vo: What have you been doing since you graduated?
Me: After my mandatory youth service I wrote and published a book (I showed her the book)..
Then I worked as a HSE assistance...

Vo: (cuts in) You mean you have been a teacher)
Me: Yes(Then I continued). Then now, I own...

Vo: (cuts in) Sorry, you are ineligible for a Visa since you can't explain why you want to study at WIU.

As she has advised, please encourage her to travel out of the US and apply for an F1 Visa. I have a friend that applied for status adjustment since last year June from B1/B2 to F1, he's still expecting the outcome till now. The school has even told him his admission will be withdrawn if he can't get the status adjustment approved before the Fall semester begins.
