Security operatives have taken over the road leading to Afrika shrine popularly known as Fela Shrine ahead of the visit by France President, Emmanuel Macron. The French leader arrived Abuja ealeir today where he met with president Muhammdu Buhari in Aso Rock before proceeding to Lagos to visit Fela Ransome-Kuti’s popular African Shrine.

Mr Macron is not a stranger to Nigeria. He trained as a senior civil servant at the French Embassy in Lagos in 2004, seven years after Fela died.

At the African Shrine, Ikeja, he will be treated to Afrobeat music. His host, Lagos state Governor Akinwunmi Ambode will use the occasion to promote tourism in Lagos.

On Wednesday, President Macron is expected to open the magnificent Alliance Francaise building at 9am. Located in Ikoyi, the building is the biggest and best such facility that blends today’s innovative and classy design with the traditions of the past.

There was so much blood spilled, people massacred in Plateau State just less than two weeks ago, he didn’t come. My question is what is Macron going to do in Fela Shrine? Not that am a racist but these whites are just too mysterious. What is really going on in this country?.

Was wondering why the special interest in Afrika Shrine in particular. Now I understand.

He used to smoke some nice joints, drink skuchies and listen to afro beat music on Friday nights at Afrika shrine when he was a civil servant with the French embassy in Nigeria in 2004.

baba that sh** is overhyped nothing would happen other than security operatives fishing out the culprit and tending an apology letter to French senate

nothin more only thing that may happen are series of sanctions
