BUILDING YOUNG ASPIRANTS FOR POLITICAL CANDIDACY, EPL SUMMIT TO UNVEIL NEW STRATEGIES.

The forthcoming edition of the Emerging Political and Economic Leaders Summit has indeed created a platform for young aspirants to be moulded into political candidacy ahead of the 2019 general elections.

The summit which is themed "From Aspiration to Candidacy" will unveil strategic pathways that enables aspirants to sit proudly on the seat of candidacy and leadership.

However, the 3rd edition of Emerging Political and Economic Leaders Summit which is slated to hold in Abuja, at the Yar'adua center on the 18th of July will have the presence of young exemplary leaders like Hon. Tony Nwulu, the sponsor of "not too young to run act", Mr. Donal Duke, the fomer governor Of Cross River state, Rt. Hon. Ghali Na'Abba, Hon Udeh Okoye, PDP national youth leader, Kabiru Tanimu Turaki, a presidential aspirant, Bishop Emmanuel Amakiri, Chairman YPP, Dr. Yunusa  national chairman of NCP and some notable vibrant political icons with strategic submissions that will enhance and encourage young aspirants to become responsive and reactive candidates.

In view of the recent presidential assent on "Not too young to run bill", the "Young Aspirant Edition" of EPL Summit has taken proactive steps to nurture young leaders, build responsive party engagements, innovate productive channels for parry developments and establish an organised system of governance in Nigeria.

Thence, the day of the event should be postponed to a more convenient day (weekend), otherwise, it will be just be another gathering of established politicians pretending to be smart while "inserting campaign ads" into their speeches.

The theme seems okay but I'm not too impressed by it, Although some of the key topics to be discussed like building a good corporate governance, effective strategies to make the younger generations formidable aspirants/candidates picks my interest.

I would love to hear what these strategies are.
