I mailed ACCA and they told me it would cost 25 pounds to send the transcript by post to WES.

It may not be the Diploma in Accounting and Business, that is the one that the controversy is about.

Before you become a member of the body, you get a number of intermediate qualifications of which the above is one. There is no doubt about what the other intermediate qualifications and the final membership is worth. There is three-year and four-year degree equivalence. NanaF is probably talking about a qualification other than the above.

Does this mean I have to go through DHL?

Did you indicate your Reference number on the faxed statement of result? If no, then it might be difficult for them to link the said document to your account.
So, I advice you send another one, then do the following;
- photocopy your result,
- use biro to hand write your WES reference number on the photocopied result.
- scan it and then use hellofax to send, using your reference number as the subject.
I guess you will be fine with this, as they will acknowledge your document in 48hrs max.
