So, these people did not only go to I and hubby's LinkedIn profile, they checked my our Facebook as well, checked out our wedding portfolio pics online (the one done by the photographer), checked my UK school graduation ceremony announcement that showed an online copy of the brochure showing names of graduands, online copy of church bulletin showing church dedication announcement for my son. Whew! These people checked everything. How did I know?

For those of us here who are in the habit of sharing graphic, malicious and/or hate inciting content online and on social media accounts, now is the time to thoroughly comb through and have them taken down. These may include among others; gory accident scenes, riot and violent clash scenes/videos, protest videos, IPOB/MASSOB/OPC/AREWA promoting content etc. One might be denied on grounds of security threat to the Canadian community.

Not sure if the location you applied from determines your visa office. I'm not even sure that schooling in the UK has any impact. I've seen graduates of UK schools whose applications are being processed in Ottawa. Most times, what you see on the GCMS notes as the reason for sending a file to London is: Work Load redistribution. So, I can't say for sure what determines where an application gets sent to.
