Hello Nairalanders. some months back I went to this particular Plaza outside my location to buy feed for my broilers lo and behold at the door of the shop was a metal cage with cute day old ducks inside so I made some enquiries from the lady attending to me who directed me to their drug store to meet their vet doctor after our conversation I still in confusion if I should go for it considering this general impression that ducks are dirty .So far I have been feeding them with starter feed,kitchen waste and maize chaf at times.i need more on how to rear ducks successfully.

That is also my next focus for agriculture ...it is a good and profitable one...and since the birds are hardy dy survive in almost all weather..they only need more attention and drug at tender age but when they are fully grown they can survive and blend well with little human assistance ..KEEP IT UP op

Duck meat is very tasty, especially in those Peking duck Chinese fried rice.. Well done. I still don't know why we still believe only Chicken, beef and goat are the only meat worth eating, we need to diversify abeg..
