Yes it should be politically motivated because you are a politically exposed person and therefore should maintain a clean sheet. The higher you go in life generally is the high and neater you clean up your mess. So nothing is bad about it, every politician have opponent so stop pointing fingers its a political pitch play clean to avoid frictions you know the Government cannot also win all his court cases its like that worldwide. Don't complain you are lucky to be rich otherwise poor Nigerian pass through it on daily bases in Nigeria. That is why we are calling for the rule of law to prevail and the death of God father-ism. Let the rule of law take it cause. The rain of Justice should fall on the poor as well as the rich and the influential. Stop inciting the masses to hate any body, even Donald Trump is facing more problems than you. However All hail the Main man P.M.Buhari the man who don't take calls of suspects for exoneration. Sai Baba for allowing the wheel of Nigeria to move freely without been held stagnant by any Cabal or mafia Congratulation Long live P.M.Buhari Long Live Nigeria. 1 Like |

Supreme Court discharges Saraki of all Charges involving Money Laundering and False Asset Declaration. ME: Wow! I congratulate Saraki on this major vindication! Children of God let us note that Nigerian supreme court also discharged James Ibori of all charges relating to money laundering too...then along came the UK courts 2 Likes |

To everyone claiming Buhari was behind the case, how come the same Buhari didn't pressurize the judiciary to prosecute the man given what was obtainable in previous administrations. |

The president can try till eternity to jail corrupt public officials, but he's just spinning his wheels because the 3rd arm of government we rely on to assign punishment and deterrent to corrupt public officials is itself extremely corrupt from top to bottom. There are many judges on trial for corruption and taking bribes from politicians like saraki to influence court judgement. Crooked, corrupt and criminal Nigerian public officials don't go to Jail in Nigeria because they've looted so much that they have more than enough to buy up the whole court and every thing in it. Ibori evaded justice for so many years because he looted more than enough to not only buy favorable court judgement, but also to move his case to his own state and even built his own federal court and assigned judges to adjudicate his own case. We just have to wait and hope court systems outside Nigeria nab, prosecute and jail these corrupt crooks like they did to Ibori. |

Xisnin: And even the supreme court judgement is politics as well. We all know saraki is not innocent of the charges and also the Code of Conduct Bureau would not have said a word if Saraki had not gone againt his party's decision to become senate president. Everything in Nigeria is all about politics now and I am hoping it won't come to a time when you someone in broad daylight and get a political judgement without any qualms. |

Nawaa o !!! at what cost! corruption has reached its pick in this country and it continued to fight back from all levels, after 1018 day trial and 100 SAN defence counsels, your guess is as good as mine as to engaging just one SAN as a defence counsel. With all clear documentary evidences and uncountable number of prosecution witnesses at the end of the day the pronouncement is you can go on with your looting spree. more so, the man in question is the leader of the new political party R L P. Renewed Looters Party. |

Nigeria judiciary is wack. I'm a fan of saraki legislation leadership because he conquer godfatherism in Nigeria legislature but that doesn't predate he's not corrupt like other politicians that been said, a Petty thief wouldn't get this kind of justice in Nigeria because he's a son of nobody. Nigeria judiciary discharge more or less a favouritism law. the masses are in mess with our judiciary system |

. “At the end of a tortuous journey of 1018 Days counting from September 22, 2015 when the case began at the Tribunal, I am happy that I have been vindicated. The Supreme Court has affirmed that there is no evidence of false declaration of assets. The court also observed that certain agents took over the responsibility of the Code of Conduct Bureau in this trial, and one can infer that this was done towards a pre-determined end. Please what's the meaning of this and wasn't it perjury? |
