Ezechinwa:You are right. Churches in Nigeria are always in a competition with each others. The Bible says my perished because they lack wisdom. By now, churches should embark more on street to street evangelism like the old time missionaries. We sure have more than enough church building in this country. Rather, let the TRUTH words of God be preached to all nations. Lord does not live on a building. He lives on our hearts. If not for the monetary gains (imagined 100,000 X N100 at one service) involved, there are better avenues to utilize the money for evangelism. God please be merciful unto us. 1 Like |

Armchair critics, sitting on their poor asses and vomiting ignorance about what they know nothing or little about. Have you people been to Dunamis to find out the various welfare programs being undertaken by the church or even taken into account the number of jobs being created by the building of that edifice? |

Who are all these noisemakers and frustrated people complaining about the church, instead of facing your business and channelling your complaining energy into bettering your life situation, im sure some of you can never do wat these pastors and churches have done in relation to charity and helping the poor and youre here complaining about church moving forward infrastructurally, all these members of the complainers and wailers association should leave pastors and churches to do what GOD would have them do.....it is not fit to leave the main purpose and attend to the lesser purpose.... |

Churches in Nigeria have the capacity and financial wherewithal to create sustainable jobs for Nigerians with better working conditions. They can venture into textiles, automobile and other industries that can help the country and the citizens to improve on their economy. I believe God answers prayer but He will not descend from heaven to physically help us out of recession. |

HigherEd: This is sad , why are we like this We don't have the world's tallest building , the world's biggest school , the world's biggest stadium , the world's widest or longest runway , the world's fastest train network or the world's best and biggest airport , of all the things that can contribute to national building it is church we decide to build. The funny thing is the biggest church auditorium before this was also in Nigeria , the richest pastors are also from Nigeria , who has cursed us like this that we can not free ourselves from this religious bondage. As long as this continue we will always look up to God to deliver us from poverty and guess what , it will never come. 1 Like |

GoTV: Oga, everyone is entitled to there opinion. A failed nation is as a result of failed govt and not church - Be Your own bill gates etc and make a positive change in Nigeria and Africa and let others do there's based on there own belief and calling.. Every body get a purpose on earth, find yours and make ur own change. You can be coherent but not smart. |

chronique: 1.I agree with you(gave you a like ) 2.Government does try to help private investors. 3.A big reason why we don't have much in the way of a growing economy is the fact that power supply is poor. Yet., many Nigerians want to get power for free without paying for it.(both rich and poor and even many govt enterprises) 4.Again, many Nigerian companies fail because of the greed of the founder's family, or because they are badly run. 5.Our attitude to the economy is bad...we view it as a cake to be shared rather as talents to be multiplied. 6. Our universites , infact our whole education system lacketh funding. And enough teachers, and enough 7.Thing is, Nigerians aren't interested infixing these problems...they would rather vote for the government that provides them goodies like Sure -P, N-power, consolidated whatever, free N5000, amnesty, free stomach infrastructure. If the government is not privding you with goodies...it is a bad government. 3 Likes |
