So it's not the church duty to provide these things but the church collects from the society in the form of offering and tithes abi , the worst thing is churches and religious institutions are not taxed yet they collect hugely from the society with no apparent service they provide. If you care about the advancement of this country you won't be talking like this. The churches don't force people to give tithes and offerings. We that do it, do it out of conviction from the Word of God and we owe nobody any explanation. If you don't do it that's your conviction but why are you taking pain killer for a headache that you think we are having? Leave us to give our money to the church, it is not your business. After all its our money. Thank you. 1 Like |

God doesn't live in physical buildings;he lives in our hearts.
this sort of thing can only happen in a society where the government has failed. nigeria's population is growing rapidly and we are busy giving out lands to people to build churches instead of us to give these lands to private investors who are ready to invest hugely in the economy and create jobs.
I agree with your assertion..However Pastor Paul is a business man whose fundamental objective is making money through his Dunamis empire. He's not obligated in creating jobs for the 100k capacity members. |

If we don't invest in industries and manufacturing, I wonder where people will work.
Thousands pray for divine employment connections, financial breakthrough, e. t. c
But if there are not enough companies to create national wealth, how exactly are those prayers going to be answered?
If you pray to God for employment as a mechatronic engineer, and God does not see any mechatronic Engineering company to fix you in, what will you do? |

So, while we were praying, Malaysia came here and took our palm seedlings and built a great factory of it. While we were praying, Singapore went into investment in technology. While we were praying, India went into ICT. While we were praying, China went to massive industrialization. While we were shouting Allah Alakuba! UAE went into massive infrastructural development. While we were binding and casting Lucifer, Japan went into technological development. While we were speaking in tongues, Denmark went into education of her citizens. While we were mounting big speakers in our places of worship, USA was mounting man on the moon.
After our prayers, God, being a wise God decided to reward us according to our labour. Since those that went into industrialization, technology, infrastructural development, ICT, education etc have been rewarded accordingly. It's only wise God rewards us with our efforts in prayers. That's why today, Nigerian pastors are competing in building the biggest churches.
That's why there are more prayer houses and worship places than hospitals and schools. That's why people rush to prayer houses for medical and business solutions instead of hospitals. When we are traveling, we ignore all the necessary road requirements, servicing of our vehicles and pray. Because, we pray and fast and leave everything to God when we have all we need to survive and build a nation....... I hope it made sense to you Nigeria did not fail because they prayed and fasted.. America was more religious than any christian nation in the world during their early years of development such that everything about them had God in it including their constitution and their currency notes plus they became bonded with isreal. Saudi Arabia is more religious than Nigeria.
