I find the story a little strange too , but I believe there are some pictorial evidence of the Man scammed on the other thread.


The truth is that majority of these "one man travel agents" in Nigeria are basically scammers or hungry salesmen trying to present most below average overseas countries to unsuspecting customers as little paradise on earth..


No matter how rich one maybe, traveling overseas requires a period of settling down as one is basically starting a new life.......

but the task of settling in a foreign land can be made extra difficult without the necessary documents needed to search for a means of livelihood, especially in a poor country like the one the late op went to.

The aforementioned seems to be the problems of most Nigerians and while some might survive it, others might not be so lucky..

Some of the agents even have the nerves to dear their victims to report them to the authorities. Most of these agents are very conversant with the law or in close associate with the authorities.

I will advise anyone that wants to migrate to process their own visa applications and I will also advise people to investigate the immigration laws of the countries they are heading too before leaving the shores of Nigeria.

If the Australian job will sustain her and her kids and give them the same kind of life they have here. Then she should take it without thinking twice.
