Dont mind them, they believe Nigeria has changed not knowing its still the same business as usual. Every nook and cranny of Nigeria is riddles with corruption, my advice to all hopefuls, whatever the outcome of this busy week, just accept it in good faith.

The truth is that, if some don't make it, they will blame it on the system even if they perform woefully during the interview. Well, letters are ready and it's 80% merit, no kidding!!!!

This guy is BACK. I was telling someone that some controversial monickers will be back soon to discredit the system.

My dear Engineer. Many of us here came through the Application to this last stage without knowing a housefly in the senate, Aso rock or DPR. But somehow we are here. Even if Nepotism thrives a good number of people will step into DPR on Merit.

You were so sure and on the side of The APC (Application Portal Closed) gang during those days but it turned out you were wrong. Now you are inferring 20% merit baseline. What if you are wrong again this time. Is it not better you manage your discretion better so as to make better decisions in the future?

Lets not allow our emotions or sentiments take the better of us. Well this is Nigeria and we know Nepotism is most times the order of the day but at times Merit wins. And this DPR can be one of those "at times" cases.

I experienced this stress between 2010-2013 during nnpc recruitment. I started a thread on naijahotjobs that had more than 1000 pages.

After a long wait, the letters came.


It was a terrible experience as many did not get the job, that includes myself.

Pls do not put all your hopes in this, be ready to accept whatever comes.

Nnpc started the process well, the first two stages were on merit. Final selection was mared with serious corruption.

I guess they do that this days so that people will not complain about the process.


If you know anyone, pls follow up. If you don't pls pray.

Many people who comment here have talked to one or two persons about getting help.

When they finally get their letters, they won't tell you how they did it. If you have not, pls talk to God.

When the letters finally come, a lot of people will be shocked. I almost got hypertension because I didn't make it.

Looking back at my performance at the interview I cried like a child.

It was God that helped me...


This world is messed up already.


It is a place where slaves ride on horses while the princes walk .

oga didn't you get angry and storm off last year because of the supposed damaged Nigerian system as you didn't get called back for the interview? Why are you back again? Let those of us who hold onto our belief in the merit list be abeg.

For those tongue lashing here... Keep it up. For the idle ones, better encourage urself. I am a practicing Engineer with or without DPR. I will remain in d forum and WhatsApp forum to rejoice wt the successfuls. Remember, the greatest gift of God to mankind is MAN. If u have connection, congratulations. If u don't have any, Pray harder.... Most people here speaking with confidence have a MAN or MEN pushing for them in the recruitment process, but they will keep saying its on merit............. Success to those awaiting their APL.

I wonder when Nigerians will stop thinking that everyone who succeed in doing something they failed at had to cut corners. Same mentality of the poor men, that the rich made the money through illegal or diabolical means. A lot of people still get things and succeed the right way. Simple.

You need to change your perception about life...GOD loves everyone and is ever willing to take us to greater heights. A lot of persons have gone through your experience(s) if not worse and wouldn't put up this attitude/write-ups in a public domain. For those who have done so many interviews, you will know that interview assessments are subject to so many forces and sometimes are even beyond the control of interviewers. And for talking about NNPC 2012 recruitment as marred with nepotism/corruption,
YOU ARE WRONG! I advise we pray for GOD's mercy and that GOD settles us early.

Those wit negative mindset shld stop applying for federal jobs to save their hearts and BP. Assuming I am the only one that applied for this job, there won't have been an aptitude test and interview in the first instance.

I have also always wished that people should stop going to school since most of them claim that going to school is a waste of time.
DPR would have come to my convocation day to beg me to work for them.

When you read, try to understand what the writer is saying before you respond. Don't change the underpinning message in one's writing because of intolerance.
The young man was only advising everyone to accept the outcome of this recruitment in good faith.
