Hi guys, pls oo I have a query. I don't know if it has been answered here before, so pardon me pls. A colleague (the mother) has a daughter here in naija, but the father stays in UK with another family of his own. The colleague wants to apply for UK visa for her daughter, naming the father in the UK her sponsor. The question here is, i don't think the father named her as one of his daughter's in UK. Will Having the father as her sponsor affect her visa? Or she should remove the father as sponsor? but then again the daughter's birth certificate has the father's name written. PS The mother has her visa already and they plan on going together if her visa is approved. Also they won't be staying with the father. Any Ideas please |

K4daniel: Please guys, i need to ask a question about what this post...the poster said he was refused a visa, reason being "low and insufficient funds in his account" with 1.5m balance...i dont know how true this is, Because in my own case i have 1.3m in my account (savings 990k, company 400k) with 3landed properties and planning to apply with budget of 820k (1700£)...i think there are cases here where people with equivalent or lower balance gets their visas issued...please someone should kindly clear my doubt. |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by folmus: 7:53am On Jul 09, 2018 |
iapt: There are many factors they consider in granting visas. You may have all the money and still have your visa denied. The person you quoted didnt tell us whether he applied alone then or with his wife which is what am thinking. He didnt tell us how many days he filled in his application. So its possible that his finance was insufficient for the content of his application. There was an applicant here who said he submitted a bank statement with 80k and he got his visa. Each case is independent and treated as such. |

Please do they now do interview for uk visa? Someone told me they now do interview unlike the old vfs appointment but visa interview.please some confirm? |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by folmus: 9:29am On Jul 09, 2018 |
Lee310: You know, nobody can really predict the outcome. My advice is just let your application presents you as an applicant that will leave the UK at the end of the days stated in your application. |

K4daniel: No interview, except in few cases if they need to clarify anything and in most cases, the applicants are students to the best of my knowledge. 1 Like |

Thank you for your concern, i believe renewal shouldn't take much time since it's not a fresh application. Well let see if it will be ready this week as you say abnot: |

Pls, I submitted my Standard Visitor's visa on the 12th of June, 2018, and no the Decision box on my TLS page hasnt yet been ticked, neither have l revived any email. Is there anybody who has experienced such long delays before and what can l do to speed things up? Is there a need to worry about anything, prolly missing documents? Pls pardon my questions, l am just a lil bit distraught right now. Thanks |
