Aww teamie! Have u gone to see ur doctor? Though i heard in some cases its normal.
Just observe it and if u r not comfortable rush to d hospital pls so u can be checked. I have also been having cramps these few days too esp at night but no bleeding. They said the uterus is expanding but it sometimes puts fear in me but i know God is in control. Pls rest well and dont stress urself,u will be fine by Gods grace. Other feb mamas hope u r doing fine...Geesucc,glimpse,faithpeace. Sending us all positive energy

My Birth Story

I went for antenatal on the 28th of June (38 weeks )doctor asked me to do scan and bring the result back to him the same day,so I did the scan and the sonographer said everything good aside for the baby's weight,I was scared and he told me the estimated weight is now 4kg.
I knew it from that moment that I wl not be given an opportunity to try vbac again so straight to the doctor's office and after checking the result I was sent to the delivery ward.The Obstetrician asked me to pick a date for my repeat c section and checked hubby's schedule and wen my mom would be free so I picked 9th of July.

Went to piss on the 4th of July and saw some mucous plug and from that time I started getting really scared not to fall into labour cos hubby wl be busy writhing his exam that weekend and no one wl be on ground to take care of my hyper active 2years old son,so I started seeing dark brown blood in the evening.I called hubby to come back early and we went straight to do scan and everything was perfect baby weighs 4.15kg.
We went back home, so on the 5th of July I started cramping and still seeing the dark brown blood and wen to piss and saw plenty mucous plug with blood and started having contraction.We headed to the hospital and I was given a space to lie,all my vitals were checked ,but from the contraction stops and I was telling them to allow me to back home,that was around 11pm and hubby and my Ds still waiting outside.Doctor object ,but when hubby started getting grammar and getting angry that they should release me,they asked me him to sign that he is taking me back home.we got home and everything was cool until around 1am ,contraction started coming 8 to 10mins apart.

My Birth Story part 2

The contraction was painful that I started imaging dat it wl feel like when it gets to 2mins apart ,so I woke hubby up around 4.30am and told him how I have been grabbing the bedspread cos of the pain.I had a warm shower and prepared my Ds too ,then we left for the hospital around 6.30am ,the contraction has started hitting me in 4mins then.

We got to the hospital and they prepared me that it has turned to emergency and not elective anymore.Na so hubby and doctor begin dey drag am,Doctor said since hubby is proving to know to much that they should watch me till evening,hubby saying he was going to take me to another hospital(I was like ogun esu leleyi o),I was begging the doctor and still trying to remind hubby that it's not everything you wl be proving right.He later signed and as they checked and realised feral distress from the monitor they attach to my tummy,that is how the rush start o,put oxygen for my nose,plenty plenty monitors attached to my body ,come and see how all of them started tongue lashing dat they were telling hubby not to take home yesternite,that can I see how my baby is struggling to survive in there cos the heartbeat started reading 178 and above .

I was wheeled to the Operating room and the spinal refused to set in ,the anastetist still assuring the doctor that it wl be setting in small small,I was asked to lift up my leg ,I could do it,that was how the doctor started cutting me ,I screamed cos I was in pain that was how I was knocked out with general anastesia and I woke up in pain an hour later.

And I was told by the doctor that God really wants my baby to live that the cord was tied round him 5 times and and they brought my already dressed orobo 4.5kg to me and started saying Thank you Jesus.

I thank God almighty for the stress free pregnancy journey and to all the sabi mamas here,I have really learnt alot from 2016 till date.May we all eat the fruits of our labour and am wishing all the remaining preggy mamas safe delivery

Yes o. I am doing well, just had headache yesterday,but I am perfect now. The nausea is still the only problem. I try to eat every morning and I ensure my fruit and snacks are in my bag as I head to the office. I hope you are also doing great. May God Almighty keep us all healthy and sound as we continue in this journey in Jesus name. Amen.

Good morning to everyone, its been a while i commented on here. Thank you to everyone who prayed for me and encouraged me when i was sick, am glad to say am doing very well now and enjoying vigilante . God bless you all. Ayauche and Liliesbud12, thank you for keeping in touch, God bless you.

Congratulations to all my June teamies, we came, we saw and we conquered. Am so proud of my team... Thanks to God for safe deliveries with no loss recorded. Congratulations to all other mamas who have birthed their lo's and safe delivery to all waddling mamas, we shall rejoice with you soon.

MY BIRTH STORY
Pregnancy period
I conceived miraculously after 2.9yrs of ttc after so many tests, drugs, hospital visits, spending money etc. I had multiple fibroids and was told to do a surgery, i took in unexpectedly the month i was scheduled to do the surgery. The pregnancy period was very challenging for me, at 6 weeks i had high malaria from then onwards one issue or the other. MS was all day sickness for me and no remedy worked for me. i went days without food cos anything i taste must come out even water, i was being rushed to the hospital almost every week to take drip cos of extreme weakness, i could hardly stand without being supported. I lived on A.vomine every 5am bf anything enters my mouth, then i could now eat one plain eko/agidi and cold water for the day. I also took alot of youghurt.

MS lasted for 5 full months and sometimes show face until after 7 months b4 I started eating, I lost so much weight that you will see Belle but won't see who is carrying it
So thyphoid fever, fibroid degeneration, premature contractions and bleeding/spotting landed me on admission 7 times. I was told the fibroids were getting bigger and have increased to 5 so the baby might not survive. They were also located at the mouth of the cervix causing a lot of pain, I could not stand, sit or walk for 10 mins cos the weight was resting on the fibroids. I was placed on bed and pelvic rest, no work only go to the bathroom and no kpekus (that one pain dh ehen ).

I was told that VB will be risky for me so at 34 weeks I should come for steroids for the baby then they will carry out cs. Hubby no gree o, see me see he said his stand is no cs. Na prayers sort that matter o, thank God it was not too late.

The birth
So fast forward to 39 weeks, I went in for a cs after mild drama from dh, he was looking at my pix throughout the night, ha I said to myself. This oga take it easy na, am coming back o.
I had shaved the day before and catheter was put, was cleaned in the theater and given General anasthesia in my iv line. They were praying when I went off, I could only hear my music from afar. I felt like I was in a big spiral tube spinning round and round, I saw myself going up to different places, I saw a garden with flowers, a fiery red place, an ugly giant, my head and tongue felt so swollen. I was told I was shouting Jesus and screaming 4 different times I came out of the anasthesia, they had to give me 50mg 4 times and later switched to a different drug cos I was trying to stand up from the operating table, I even kicked their tools on the table, male nurses were called in to hold me down. My family outside were already crying and praying bcs the whole hospital could hear my screams, .

Meanwhile I heard my baby was brought out by 10:45am, I heard his cry from another world and that was when I started coming back. From unconscious state I was saying thank you Jesus, my baby, my baby.

Mama's that have welcomed their LO, congrats. Try and do your sitzbath religiously and also take the drugs given to you. Take vit c and fruits rich in vit c.
Please don't allow anything to bother you no matter what to avoid PPD

The days seem to be rolling by slowly but we dey here, my 17 month old son go just dey wonder why him mama dey big like this, but that one is not stopping his play nor curiosity, he can like to sit on my tummy ehn, I keep reminding him baby is there.
Laziness don hook.me well well,and I feel it's taking forever, but all in all, very grateful to God, by this stage while I was pregnant with my son, I went into.preterm labour then, and God saw me through, thank God no challenge like that now.
