letters are not being dispatched. They are being picked up. Truth of the matter is people that have posted theirs here today most likely have a DPR staff that collected it for them. It was handed over to the 1st lady, the other guy too said he met it on the dining table LOL. You'd also notice they got it after close of work when their source must have closed and probably dropped it off on his/her way home. I'm not certain if they contacted all the GTs officially yet but i really don't want to believe they have and more people here haven't testified. So lets just keep hoping for the best. Tomorrow is another good day to get APL. Wish you all the best.

I was told today they are dispatching some letters but i kept asking shouldn't the people be notified atleast since they have started giving people already- there was no concrete response. I'm getting mine today but truthfully i wasn't officially contacted so i don't think there have been any official sms/emails etc. I'm hoping more people on the thread testify soon. . Well, with the way that they handled the ending part of the recruitment just summarized everyone's opinion about the whole process. Even if the 80% merit as some people claimed got the job, would anyone believe they actually got it on merit. for me , it is really a bad signal for top govt parastatal like DPR to conduct its recruitment as they did.

Congrats. Thanks for always keeping us updated, well since we the commoners know nobody in DPR and can’t get our hands on the list. Is there at least a number we can call/text to confirm our status.

They have finally admitted at DPR that letters are being disbursed. However, I was told that only those from Lagos Zone have not been contacted at all

This recruitment is marred by an unacceptable level of unprofessionalism, discrimination, disrespect and bias . The DD Corporate Services and his team did not try at all.
A few connected candidates got their APLs via the backdoor and even 24 hours later, there has not been any official communication to other candidates. This alone demerits the whole process. Even if I get the APL now, the fact is that DPR has tagged me a 2nd class citizen in my own country.
Then, we can infer that the tests and interviews were just to fulfill all righteousness when in actual sense the vacant positions had been allocated to the 'anointed' candidates long before the advertisement of vacant positions. So, why take everyone through the rigor of test and interview when they will not count. The least I can say is this is needless and baseless.

The truth of the matter is that the whole process was done inhouse. No one can even say anything concerning where the letters are ...that is whether they have dispatched it or the letters were shared to stakeholders in Abuja......Gentlemen, this is very very pathetic and i would loosely say that Shakurand his team lack empathy.

What is your proof about 80% merit. Has any merited candidate got the APl so far? Until then, you accord him accolade .
Let's stop singing praises on these people until they prove they deserve it.

Someone speculated we will see the APl yesterday.. Yet nothing like that.

I also think all this random collection of APLs doesn't necessarily mean the recruitment lacked merit.

Finally, I wonder why some of us would be asked of posting preferences whereas those that have collected letters don't have any clues on their posting. Hopefully there's no form of confusion about the whole stuff.

Hello, I deduced from your posts that you're an EH and you were contacted to inquire of a preferred place of deployment, meaning you're definitely on the list. I initially assumed the privilege of choosing a place to be deployed to, was extended to ladies alone.

Did they give a hint as to when they would sort out whatever it is that is holding up the EH list? The wait is agonisingly painful.

I saw it life and direct. Major stake holders candidates have been given appointment letter. It is not 80% merit. No government job of this magnitude and importance have given 80% to the masses. Marvel said some set did interviews long after the masses did. It was true, as I no someone else who did that period too and infact they were just 20 that did in abuja in a hotel. The interviewers from DPR directly told them that "so so so and so is your sponsor hence you have been called separately. We just want to do a formal introduction and no where to place you. Please remember not to allow anybody know about this" .

If I had come out to talk, I no the ever believers of merit and the religious fanatics would have attacked me and called me a liar. Not to dampen anybody spirit but its the right time for me to write what I know. You don't have to believe me. Infact don't believe me. If there is merit, it is few but I feel like the people who have gotten theirs know very powerful people. The masses who I no will be few will get theirs this week to next week. As for me, I had zeroed my mind since when my friend got hers last week and she said she was late as she heard some people had collected since early June. The higher your stake holder the quicker your offer letter.

It has never been this bad in DPR recruitment. I am sure it's the stench of buhari's govt nepotism that has beclouded the organisation. What a pity! Nigeria youths go and get your pvc cos this regime is appalling. There is nothing like merit in this recruitment. You guys should open your eyes!
