Every Police headquarter has a frensic unit and forensic lab .They are either ill equipped and staff not properly being put to use until there is a high profile murder case while money meant for equipment acquisition and personnel training usually ends up in people's pocket.

Police in Nigeria arte still using the old investigation technique which also works perfectly in developing countries with high level of illiteracy.

Our police are not equipped , underpaid and too lazy to even use the available ones as the number of crime per day will overwhelm the equipment and personnel on ground which we did not make adequate preparation for as a country.

That boy was murdered. There was no way for him to access that beam in the ceiling and tie the noose to it unless a third party was involved.

This might not be a murder case after all..when i was that age..i tried hanging myself playfully once after i saw it happen in some movie i watched with my best friend...it was exciting to me how my conscience almost disappeared not knowing i was dying...the next day my best friend was found hanging dead with a scarf in his mothers room window protector...till tday different stories kept flying around about his death..some even thought it was juju since he was the only son...but i know he hanged himself and its actually a secret i have ben living with...rest in peace didi

Well, if they put the noose on him and drop him from a distance while accurately ensuring the footstool used is in consonance with his height and the length of rope ,it could be ruled 'suicide' but again if that was the case their would be sign of struggle with rumpled clothing and probably if the forensic tech is smart he or she will figure out the difference from finger prints and scratches on the body during the struggle. All this can only happen if we have the equipment. and the will power to know the truth behind this.
