Hello all!

I just joined this forum and i have a slight issue. i have 60 days before my application expires. all other documents are complete except for medicals and Proof of funds.
do i need to print a bank statement or can i just request a letter from the bank stating my average bank balance and also stating my current bank balance. is there also any other way that i can show proof of funds. i don't even have the money yet. i was just planning to get my friends to send me money and then i just print my bank balance.

thanks.
You could do that but IRCC would ask for a statement of account over the last six months also and you will have to explain the bulk transfers to your account. You could get your friends to transfer it to 1 person and then transfer the bulk you need from just 1 person so it would be easier to explain if need be.

Please note that the money should remain I your account throughout the period of processing because you might be asked for a SOA at any point during your application.

The best option would be for you to decline and sought out the financial part of your application before u formally apply.

Dear all, as I start my Canada PR journey I like to ask one final question...
The question now is can I do the PR process for the whole family, but I will immigrate alone...we can all go for the first time so we can all get the PR card, then my wife and kids will come back and be coming for visits from time to time
NB
I plan for us to have our 3rd child born in Canada in 2 or 3 yrs time by God's grace

That sounds like a good plan however, note that to continue to maintain her PR status, she must be physically present in canada for 3yrs in the ist 5yr period to be eligible for renewal of pr status or application for citizenship.

Yes I did, was not aware you could combine into one gift deed at the time

Ok thanks so very much for the clarification. But if you still do not mind me asking, how does one combine two gift deed into one especially if they are from two different family members.

Pls any idea how much one with PPR is actually paying to VAC/Vfs Globals through Sterling Bank plc for transmission of document. And are we to generate different tellers for each member of family or just a single teller with summed amount for all member of family? Thanks

Dear all, please concerning the work experience,i work with an audit firm and my boss is somehow...#village people, so I cannot even entertain the idea or thought of getting a reference letter from him.
However, I have a friend whose father owns an audit firm, and has agreed to write the reference letter for my work experience....
i want to inquire if I get the reference letter in the prescribed cic format including employment letter, will it suffice??....i hope stuffs like payslip and statement of salary account would not be needed also
Thanks all as I anticipate your prompt responses

I think it would be better you approach your Boss for the reference letter with a vague reason or a colleague could sign the letter on a plain sheet (A4) while you get it notarized.

Stages in Canadian PR journey

1st the profile
2nd is ITA
3rd is AOR
4th medicals
5th background
6th ppr
7th COPR
8th landing
9th pr card
=======================

These are 3 different stages that majority of the PR applicants in EE will see against Background check in My CIC.

IP1
--------
IP1 will be shown when we pass the medical. Some people get this update on the same day along with their medical and some of them couple of days after. CIC agents will do R10, criminality checks during this stage. Once they feel everything is good then they will change it to NA. These things will happen at CIO Office (Centralized Intake Office)

NA
---------
This stage, our file will be transferred to CPC (Case processing Center) where agents will do eligibility assessments. If they feel everything is okay, then they will provide their recommendation to Visa Officer and same time they will initiate Security Checks.

IP2
--------
This status will be seen in my CIC account once Visa Officer starts reviewing or after reviewing all agents recommendations. On the same day PPR request will be triggered if the applicant paid RPRF upfront. These things will be done at CPC office.

It is not necessary that every applicant will undergo this process. But majority of the cases, I have noticed the same status

Evening House, I really appreciate you all for helping me out of my issue that was bugging my mind.
But here is another one, have started applying for MPNP and I realise that the company my wife is working with, she won't be able to get a reference letter form there on time, but it was the company we put in our EE. Now as we didn't expect nomination to come quick, I planned talking to one of my outsource company that they should help me with reference letter, that I will come with all necessary details, they will just give me their letterheaded paper and stamp.
My question me is, if I go ahead and change the company name to that outsource in EE profile and go ahead to collect reference from another outsource. What's the implication, am I still good to go.... Pls house, I will really appreciate your candid advice. Thanks.

1. Is it mandatory that a gift deed must be average of 6 months before it will be used as a POF?
2. My biological mum have promised to give me a gift once I get my ITA, please will it have any negative impact on my PR process if I use it as my POF once gotten just after ITA?
3. I have a diploma of two years and a degree of 3 years, please can I use both as TWO OR MORE CERTIFICATE OPTION?

What this means is that before nomination you work in an audit firm after nomination you now work in your friend's father's audit company? Hmmmmm

As of 7th June, 2018, when I submitted, it was N14,350 per applicant, the breakdown is below;
PPT Transmission fee -N13,890
SMS Service Charge - N460

Cash was collected at the Lagos Lekki office, had to withdraw at the ATM down stairs as I never saw anyone submit with teller.

No it doesn't have to be six months, My Gift deed fund itself was 1 month Pre-ITA while the letter came in 1 week post-ITA.
2. My biological mum have promised to give me a gift once I get my ITA, please will it have any negative impact on my PR process if I use it as my POF once gotten just after ITA?
It shouldn't be. We have seen people share experiences on this thread of same scenario and scaled through.
3. I have a diploma of two years and a degree of 3 years, please can I use both as TWO OR MORE CERTIFICATE OPTION? Never really checked, so don't lemme mis-guide you Others can weigh in

For those post-AOR, I can't even imagine the waiting. I manage by spending time here.

Please guys. I worked for 1 year in 2016 after my graduation. I was only paid in cash as it was like an internship. How do I prove I worked there considering I don't have statement of account showing the salary trail.

No one ever said statement of account showing salary deposit was compulsory. Get your reference letter in strict CIC format and let them mention you were paid in cash. If you can get pay slips from the company to support the letter then you should be good to go.

Not quite correct. They need to spend 2 years out of 5 years to renew PR, and 3years out of 5 for citizenship.

Are you working for your friends father? No. So him giving you a reference letter is lying and misrepresentation. If you are caught, you face the risk of having 5 years ban. Many people have gone this route without being caught but remember, na who dem catch be thief.

Pray very well and then approach your boss when he is in a good mood.

Haba na, this is a public forum, we cant tell who is who here. Mind what you post, it informs the perception these CIC folks have of us. Those who have been requested to appear for Interview by CIC are having a hard time even when they are telling the truth, because they take everything we submit and say with a pinch of salt. If you have questions like this, use a pm.

You may argue that you have a genuine work experience but it doesnt make what you intend doing any less fraudulent, so be cautious. If you end up being among those who get issued ADR and even have their applications sent to special units or called upon for interviews, you may not be able to make a convincing case. Please lets be guided. Our image as Nigerians is our collective responsibility.

I do understand that you may be out of options but you should at least be discrete about it. For me, I wouldnt advise you lie about your experience. Lies are sometimes expensive and difficult to maintain. Lets not forget that our PR and citizenship can be revoked if at anytime it is discovered you lied in the process of your applications, it rarely happens doesnt mean it can't. Since you already have the experience, approach your boss. Tell him you are applying for a Visa, dont state what type of visa. You can even say its a visit visa and you need to show that you work so they know you have something to return to; Its better you lie to your boss sef than to CIC.

GM all,
I can't seem to identify my NOC, can someone help me please
I am a Field Engineer (Passive systems) in a Telecommunications environment.
In telecommunications, we have two sections which are the active (the antennas, the BTS, etc) and the passive (power systems such as generator, ATS, solar, etc). That explains the passive systems.
Below is my JD:

Maintenance of BTS power and its ancillary equipment in order to ensure 99.99% uptime
▪Management of clients and customer issues as related to BTS locations
▪Collating all safety risk hazards across my cluster and prepare a safety report
▪ Maintaining efficient power availability to clients equipment on all co-location cell sites under my purview
▪ Carrying out routine safe house-keeping measures on power equipment such as PIU, ATS, Generators, rectifiers, etc
▪ Effective troubleshooting process and maintenance of remote monitoring system and its reports
▪ Preparation/Revision of all preventive maintenance routines across my cluster
▪ Ensuring all OPEX savings initiatives deployed to site are strictly adhered to
Monitoring and interpretation of remote monitoring system (RMS) communication tool for informed decision making.

Please kindly help identify what my actual NOC is. I studied Mechanical Engineering with about 5 years experience.
