When "Madam Trump" began her wahala sometime ago, it started with "harmless" picture of dishwashing soap. And then "clean kitchen sink" and then "wash wash wash". It went on and on until we got to ...... "SHYT-H-O-L-E" drama if you remember.

From that post alone, comments like "Ashewo" (that was the comment immediately after mine, although the poster later edited it), "are you the one fuc..king that white boy" and the rest. See eh, the earlier we pay attention to why we are here, the better. Even the poster knows why she put up that picture, as subtle as she made it look! Lol

Abeg, let's concentrate on FOOD as much we can, no side distraction. Not your "pots and pans", not your "kitchen", not your "baby". Just FOOD!

Yes I think it was harmless.

I saw someone post a picture of her cute little relative helping her cook. Why wasn’t that an issue to folks? I personally thought it was cute. And I thought shaybe’s post was sweet. Why is hers an issue? Because it’s a light skin man? Or the fact that she’s married? I mean I don’t know but that’s the real issue with the post?

Unless people general consider light skin to better than dark skin or being married to be better than being single. That’s the only reason why that sort of post would strike someone as basis for competition. If you consider everyone to be equal and that your marital status does not make you better than anyone else (like I do) , those kinds of posts won’t offend you.

The thread says cook in your kitchen and post. If someone posts a picture of their spouse cooking in the kitchen and what they cooked, I don’t think it’s out of line.

If they post a picture of their Lamborghini, then it’s something else.

Also the fellow that made comment is just plain disrespectful. However we can’t all be responsible for how people choose to interpret our posts when it just highlights that the problem is with them and not the post. I’m sure he won’t say that if the dude was dark skin. So what does that say?
