Na waa I didn't take it before I conceived though i took it but not religiously 2 months b4. I started folic acid proper at 6 weeks 4 days, hope it's not a problem? though the scan shows normal spinal cord. but God is in charge.

We usually feel the coldness when we drink cold water.

Then, if you notice it when u were pregnant, whenever ur baby is sleeping, immediately you take cold water, the baby will turn in the belly, that's to say they feel the coolness.

But cold water dey sweet body sha.

I take it moderately though, thank God I don't chew ice.
Very true at the bolded mama I wasn't taking cold water pre preg and in the first 8 weeks but now it's cold water or nothing and e sweet wella.

My doc is saying at 6 months let me know whether to disturb him by my next Antenatal.

My lo doesn't want to show me, I have gone to other labs without dh that wants surprise but lo isn't opening up his or her bum bum. I no check again. I'll buy neutral colours of crib and car seat and other essentials then when baby comes I'll use either pink and purple toys or blue and green toys to decorate.

Local anaesthesia is only given when it is time to suture the tear.The tear(whether spontaneous or given by the doctor/midwife) usually occurs at the peak/climax of pushing/labor pain,so it is not usually felt

Your Lo is already playing tricks, I will insist on checking mine by my next Antenatal , I don't want any suprise baby....I am already seeing pink in my dream and reality too

BS! BS!! BS!!!

At 8pm on Saturday night, 30th of June, 2018 after eating a big native pineapple of #500 I started feeling uncomfortable, as if I was having a running stomach and since my house is like an hour plus drive to the hospital and also as a ftp, DH and I decided to leave for the hospital that night.

We got to the hospital around past 10pm and I was checked. It was said to be a false labour though my MP was seen. My vitals were checked and my BP was reading 151/88 and I was told I would be admitted which we agreed to.

They watched me all through Sunday nothing happened and my BP wasn't stable. My doctor said if there's no sign of labour by Monday evening, I will be induced.

It was evening and the inducement process began. A balloon catheter was inserted in my privates then I started having a mild contraction. At 8:30am, Tuesday morning, the ballon did not fall out but it was removed. The doctor asked if I have been having contraction and I told him yes, he checked me and said I was already 6cm gone and my water was broken.

Hours later, contraction was 10minutes apart and when it comes I will shout 'this pain is too much o' 'God have mercy on me'. When I couldn't bear it no more, I called DH on phone (we were communicating) telling him we should opt for CS but he was encouraging me, telling me I can do it since I was already far gone. I called my mum too, she said I should bear the pains that that's how labour is. Meanwhile, I was with dates and glucose which I take at intervals for strength.

After like an hour, a drip was inserted (oh my!). I started begging for a pain killer when a consultant came around, he heard to my plea and ordered them to give me. I was injected with nopa and paracetamol - did it work? I don't think so.

Contraction started coming back to back by 12noon. And by 12:10pm after like three (3) pushes, my princess came out without a tear from me, screaming her lungs out weighing 3.2kg.

A female student doctor that was in the labour room when I was birthing my baby, shed some tears and almost wanted to faint, she had to be chased out lol

I can't thank God enough for this bitter-sweet experience. It was worth it all the same.

To our mamas in the ttc section, you too shall experience this joy. The wait is over Mami, your tripple blessings are on the way.

And to my waddling mamas, you are almost there, God will see you through in Jesus name.

Thank God you are fine, the sonographer should tell you o, and sometimes it's always written on the result. At least to guide you when buying baby things. Make dem no keep u in darkness biko.
