komekn: You are just venting now because you live in a country that is all about heated rivalries. However they start does not matter but an Arsenal fan would never want Tottenham to win even capital one cup. Liverpool vs Everton? Come on man that is old fashion hate! Why is it so hard to take coming from Nigerians? Like I said I don't wish tragedy on England but I will always go against them even if na water polo. 1 Like |

Icon4s: You are being one sided. Look at how the Nigerian press hails KC as a world class striker. When we know he isn't. Did anybody say they hate Nigeria. It's part of the remit of any national press to speak up for what's considered thier own. It's called national pride. Its not unique to England or any other country it's simply what each national press will do. What's bewildering is that we probably have more Chelsea and Arsenal fans in Nigeria than the UK. Is it not hypocritical for us to then say we hate the English press for hyping thier players. We have abandoned local football and adopted the EPL even in the local villages. However, I remember a few years ago going to Warri township stadium to watch Etebo. I had heard good things about him, but withdrew on account of all the drama with club chairman and agents. 1 Like |

Petrobros: I didnt know that, thank you, the possibility exists that you are more educated than me. Furthermore, I have had no desire to teach English language or be a teacher. Although my spellchecker has a way of interfering with my words. Nonetheless, I commend you, you seem very knowledgeable as a teacher, would you like a job teaching some of my younger cousins in Warri❓ I'll pay you in £££ if you so desire. 9 Likes 2 Shares |

safarigirl: Once again you can't even have a knowledge based discourse. CHALLENGED to a substantive discussion you have chosen your usual option EVASION. You have made a lot of noise wild emotive hate filled and prejudiced deductions. Defend them, that's all. I gave you specifics but all you have done is made noise. It's sad because you probably think you are a progressive youth. Add to that a student at university afraid to get into a discourse based on fact and rational. Even when you lie your words say something about you. 10 Likes 2 Shares |

komekn:Dele Alli’s father not there for him when he needed him most?? You must be smoking a different brand of weed, read about dele’s relationship with his dad before you make such assumptions. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by Kog45(m): 8:31am On Jul 13, 2018 |
Triniti:Dele attitude toward his father is bewildering cos he was with his mum till age of 13 and his Dad was there for him but the moment he signed his first pro contract his relationship with his Dad never remain the same. Dele was not raised by adopted parents like John and Justin Fashanu who were raised by foster parent but John and Justin still had good relationship with their Mum and came to Nigeria in the 80s to see their Father who reside in Ibadan but Dele continuous hating towards his mum and Dad was due to his wealth which adopted parents see as opportunity. On his father,Dele had good relationship with his Dad to the extent he had part of his primary school education in Nigeria before relocated to United States with him but left states to UK when his Dad discovered his love for the game to stay with his mum.And to cap it all his father bought him his first car. I think his adopted parents are really enjoying the guy's wealth and are happy with his hard stance toward his parents. 1 Like |

Kog45:Don’t mind that dude, dele was the best man at his dad’s wedding, man is a prince here in Nigeria and sent the errant boy to a 20,000 pounds school, what else can a dad do for a son that the dad didn’t do for him? They guys at spurs or his adopted home messed his mind up real time. Someone that snubbed his mom when she tried to talk to him atfter a match, they even threatened to ban the woman for life from the stadium if she ever tries to get in touch with dele again. 2 Likes |

BascoVanVeli:The reason Nigerians in Uk were booing him was that after the separation of his parents marriage, the dad took him along to Nigerian, sent him to a £20,000 school. The man while relocating to America took him along too where he was the best man in the dad’s wedding, the only reason why the dad left him out of his sight was his love for footie which the man allowed him to pursue. 3 Likes |

BascoVanVeli:Yes my man,Dele had the best from his Dad before he signed his first pro contract. The guy went to one of the best primary school in Nigeria, relocated to states with his Dad and best the man at his wedding, got his first football kits and car from his Dad. Pls what else again from a good father. Even John Fashanu that was raised by foster parents reconciled with his parent especially their Dad who left London and abandoned John and Justin. Dele self adopted parents are brain behind his hard stance just cos of money. 2 Likes |

Triniti:Thanks my man. Dele had it so good with his Dad and despite his mum addiction the woman didn't gave him up for adoption.Dele didn't lack as a kid but it was a pity his mum was a booze woman. Dele should take a cue from Anthony Joshua who struggled on his own doing odd jobs like bricklaying to survive but still see his parents as the main thing in his life. 1 Like |
