seyewest: That is not a problem, the vo can always get her number without her giving him, if he is into her and really needs her number. The only hitch there is that your colleague may not be able to get his if she is the one who is interested in him. Me I have learned to ask if I need 3 Likes |

fcisca: Point of correction at the bolded. The expiration date of a US visa (I like the way u specified becos countries differ) is NOT the date by which you are allowed into the USA with that particular visa but rather It specifies the date you are required to present yourself at the POE to be admitted or not by the CBP officer.. 2 Likes |

tswise: I don't think timing was the problem. I quickly rushed to Kenya and Dubai to get travel history same week i went for visa interview. As in, i travelled to Kenya and Dubai between Saturday and Wednesday when my interview was Friday. My wife and children do not have any stamp on their passport. The two country was mentioned as my travel when asked during the interview even though travel history was nil when i filled and submitted the form. Applied as a family and got the visa that Friday on a first attempt with just Kenya and Dubai talk less of you with UK and Turkey. Mine was last year though, I do not know if things has change now. I wish you well. 3 Likes |

winterstorm:Lol. Wetin you mean? The VOs are well beloved. They will last wella. Thing is we are quite sensitive as a people. We just want to know that the VO didn't refuse us because he or she hated us. Or because he or she was having a bad day. |
Re: USA Visit Visa Part 3 by ladylco: 9:06am On Jul 13, 2018 |
tswise: I feel the VO was not convinced that you're travelling for the purposes stated considering the fact that you just made a trip few months back and putting the present economic factor of nig vis a vis the financial implications for the trip (family of 5) into considerat ion, the VO is just not convinced. Right now the potential immigrants are the well to do, and they have proven the VOs right and it's costing genuine applicants their visas. Like you mentioned try again by easter or during children hols but if am to advise if am privy of your travel history I wud have discouraged you to apply wen you did initially. I wud have suggested appling next year instead so it will be obvious that it's a yearly family vac. All the best next try |

tswise: Good idea if you really want to take them on vac as you have the financial means. Do that fast as vac time will soon run out considering the visa processing time it may take to get a response a you never can tell and ensure they travel this year to the uk in order to clear the VOs doubt about your family vac intends (as you never can tell what the vo may have noted). So that by the time you are going for your USA visa next year it will be clear that you are not one of those well off visa holder who have immigration intents |
Re: USA Visit Visa Part 3 by ladylco: 9:19am On Jul 13, 2018 |
tswise: Very wrong response. Now its clearer why they were refused. Am sure the vo didn't see any uk visa affixed on the children passports. Beside how can she state family vac whereas the child were back home? |

NothingDoMe: Your comments are noted and appreciated too. But let me shed more light on some. I have been working in Financial industry for seventeen years without any travel history not even Ghana here. I felt very bad after missed opportunity to travel for training being sponsored by my company when my B1 visa was rejected in January. Someone two levels below me in my department was latter selected because of travel history issue and I had none. I decided to make travel a project this year since I have a good job and investment. I study UK thread and applied for UK in March. I applied for only my wife, our last born and I because am not sure that I will be issued the visa so that I won't waste visa fee for six. (The accountant in me and ijebu man). I also want them to serve as part of my tie. Yes, I applied for the US before leaving for the UK because the date was running fast and I want all my family to travel during the Summer. Interview date as at March 2018 was July. Thanks. |

tswise: sorry about the denial but I think the VO did a rough estimate regarding your financial state bearing in mind that you visited UK just a few weeks ago. Mind you the pound is way stronger than the dollar so he must done some calculations , same thing happened to my aged father last year when he applied for the UK visa, he had just visited US about a year earlier and still had a valid US visa on his passport ,my brother in scotland had sent bank statements , his ID card as a GP doctor etc with a letter to be responsible for his expenses and upkeep for the 2 weeks he was to sped with his family, still they denied him because he had just over 400k in his own account. so its best to space your trips except you are a known celeb that holds tons of cash. |

tswise: One more question; does your wife really still have a mother? Has she at any time stated or put it somewhere in the open that her mum is deceased or incapacitated or something before? That last question by the VO, followed by the refusal though.... |
Re: USA Visit Visa Part 3 by tswise: 11:29am On Jul 13, 2018 |
OmoBendel24: Yes o. My mother in law is alive and strong. We specifically mentioned her that she will take care of our remaining children on the cover letter when l applied for UK visa. |

AZUH: Dude I don't know you but I honestly think you are the one talking the nonsense. Do you know how many people this thread don save their hard earn money? I have personally recommended this thread to would be applicants and they all had successes at first attempt. Even though mine was at the second attempt after an agent did rubbish with the first. By the way what documents are you referring to for visit visa? 4 Likes 1 Share |

tswise: I feel you Bro. The timing was not favourable , i feel as a professional with that lenght of career years its is somehow expected that you should have some sort of international exposure. You started at the wrong time, moreso this era where bankers and oil workers alike are emigratin emasse; these 2 were the labour sectors that was really striving as such procuring visas was a walk through for those categories of applicants. Now for the case you have presented, the vo was left with no other choice than to think that the intents was not as presented due to recent unfolding immigration events (just my thoughts) |
